Baraka is an 18th century traditional private residence located at the heart of the old historic area of Ronda, the queen of Andalucian white villages. In June 2003 it was awarded by the Ronda City Council second place in the much coveted competition for the preservation and maintenance of its historical buildings.

Ronda is an ancient city built on a rocky outcrop of the Serrania mountains, a city rich in history with breathtaking views, Moorish palaces, hanging gardens, cobblestone streets and the oldest bullring in Spain.

Baraka - Bedroom

Baraka
is accessed through a pedestrian cobblestone street and has been renovated adding contemporary comfort to its old charm. The ground floor rooms open to a traditional courtyard ablaze with Moorish colors, Sevillana tiles, wall lamps, plants and a fountain.

The rooms above have a panoramic view of mountains and the only sounds breaking the silence are birdsong and churchbells.

Baraka is a base from which to explore the city, enjoy its numerous squares full of outdoor cafes or to indulge in painting, hiking, biking and horse riding. It is only 45 minutes from Costa del Sol, 1.5 hours from Sevilla and 2 hours from Granada. There are two non-smoking rooms for the use of bed and breakfast with individual bathrooms.
