From Malaga Airport take road N340/E15 towards Málaga and follow the signs MOTRIL-ANTEQUERA. Turn right in the direction of CARTAMA UNIVERSIDAD and continue in the direction of Cartama A357 heading towards RONDA/CAMPILLO/ARDALES

Turn left onto the A367 following signs for RONDA/TEBA and eventually you will reach a T junction. Turn left onto the A357 in the direction RONDA/CUEVAS DEL BECERRO.

Finally you will arrive at a crossing with traffic lights at the edge of Ronda. You will find a sign for El Burgo on your left and Ronda on your right; TAKE THE THIRD option right across signposted San Pedro de Alcántara.

Following this road you will come to a roundabout; turn right in the direction of Algeciras; notice that the sign has been blurred with black paint.

Take the exit Ronda Oeste. It is the first exit you encounter. Soon the houses will be in sight and you must watch out for signs on your left (arrow like-pinkish colour) pointing to ERMITA RUPESTRE VIRGEN DE LA CABEZA. Turn left here. You are now positioned in a kind of mini roundabout area where you can go in two directions - either to ERMITA pointed out by the signs, or to the left pointed out by the walking routes sign. Follow this left road and notice that just below these route signs there is a blue spot painted on a stone. Look for these blue spots or arrows placed strategically all along the way to La Cazalla. Immediately before you get to the hotel you will pass an ancient house in ruins; pass it and you are there. Press the bell and the gate will open and Maria or Rodrigo will welcome you personally - BIENVENIDOS!
