In addition to annual festivals, Antequera is also home to numerous events throughout the year. Many of these events are organized by the town hall’s culture department which is an excellent place to visit if you are interested in finding out which cultural offerings are on the local horizon.
Once a year the town hall organizes a Cultural Week and in July there is the traditional Noche Flamenca de Santa María (Saint Mary’s Flamenco Night).

The city of Antequera, as well as the surrounding area, are well equipped for conferences, congresses and trade fairs. Thanks to excellent accommodation and facilities, many organizations choose to hold events in this area.
Antequera is also a favourite area for weddings and other large gathers as there are numerous rural venues that cater to parties, corporate dinners and all manner of smaller events.
