Castillo de Santa Catalina
The seventeenth century castle, which formed part of the city’s defense from the time of King Felipe II, has been partially restored and now has four rooms where exhibitions of paintings, engravings and photographs are held. Located on Calle Antonio Burgos (Playa La Caleta).

Diputación Provincial de Cádiz
Situated in an eighteenth century palace, the building holds at least six major exhibitions each year related to a particular theme or a biographical account of a well- known local or provincial figure, or of an educational nature. Located in Palacio Provincial, Plaza de España.

Centro Integral de la Mujer
The cultural theme of exhibits in this five-story building is the equality between the sexes in the history of Cádiz. There are paintings, sketches and photographs of cigarette girls and cyber-women, local female politicians, artists and writers. Located in Plaza del Palillero.

Sala Rivadavia
Contemporary artists living and working in the province of Cádiz show their works here at Sala Rivadavia, which include paintings, photographs and sculptures among other media. There is also an annual exhibition of Latin American art. Located in Calle Presidente Rivadavia.

Baluarte de la Candelaria
The bastion was constructed in the seventeenth century overlooking the sea and facing towards El Puerto de Santa María to protect the natural entry into the port of Cádiz. Now restored, the building holds occasional art exhibitions indoors and concerts and theatre productions in its large outdoor patio surrounded by giant palm trees, where many carnival performances can also be seen. Located on Alameda Marqués de Comillas.

Casino Gaditano
The building occupied by the Casino Gaditano was constructed in the 18th century for the Marqués del Pedroso and the mudéjar styled, two-tiered, open patio has now been restored to its former glory. This is the headquarters of the Foundation for Constitutional Studies where various cultural activities are held throughout the year.

Galería Mínimaarte
More than 30 contemporary artists from the province of Cádiz and beyond exhibit their works here, which also functions as an online gallery. Located on Cuesta de las Calesas, Edificio Ifef.
