Lily was born in Iraq, grew up in Israel and lived in England for many years. Her work reflects her experience of these vastly differing societies and cultures. It expresses the bright and colourful, together with the serious and thought provoking, aspects of humanity. Her paintings show compassion and understanding of suffering, yet are full of light and hope.

Lily studied first in Tel-Aviv´s School of Art and then left for Russia to study sculpture at the Repin Academy of Arts in Leningrad. Later she moved to London, where she completed courses at the Byam Shaw Art School and elsewhere.

Lily has exhibited her work in galleries in Belgium, England, France and Israel. Her paintings are in private collections ain many countries.

She has now opened her own Galeria de Arte Havis where, as well as paintings, one can find other objects of art, such as jewellery and antiques.
