In Torre del Mar the following events take place throughout the month.
The Lux Mundi Ecumencial Centre in calle Casa de la Viña 3 was founded in 1997. The Torre del Mar Centre provides the same services as the Fuengirola Centre, such as interpreter services, wheel chairs, walkers on loan, help in contacting hospitals, medical and other services and visits to those confined in their homes. Support is also given in cases of sickness, loneliness, bereavement or other difficulties. The Centre has a library and reference library in different languages, nearly new clothes are nominal prices, day trips and the chance to meet other from many countries in a welcoming setting.
Regular events include Spanish conversation groups four days each week and on Friday, the ever-popular coffee morning, during which time the lending library and a “nearly new boutique” is open.
Church services include Mass on Saturday at 17.00 during the winter months and at 18 00 in the summer and an Anglican Service every third Thursday of the month at 12 noon.
