The Ideal Choice of Budget Accommodation in Seville
Seville is a marvel. It’s a city of various diverse (and wildly beautiful) neighbourhoods: the narrow alleyways of the Barrio de Santa Cruz are lined with glorious old palaces and stunning plazas… the Alfalfa, Triana, the Macarena and Santa Catalina, meanwhile, all teem with life.
For backpackers in Andalucia, though, the good news doesn’t end there: When it comes to budget accommodation, the city’s no less blessed, with a range of outstanding hostels in Seville for travellers to choose from.

As is the case with Granada (whose hostels really are amongst the best you’d find anywhere in the world), your average hostel in Seville is a pretty attractive place to bed down in during a stay in the city.
With their fantastic facilities, affordable prices and locations in some of the city’s most intoxicating neighbourhoods, though, the below examples are just a bit special.
Oasis Backpackers Hostel Seville
With successful backpacking digs in Lisbon and Granada, Oasis know what it takes to put together a great hostel. And their Seville hostel is absolutely no exception: It’s got a great location (round the corner from the lively Alfalfa) and, set round a striking patio, fantastic facilities – it’s even got a dipping pool on the roof!
Triana Backpackers
Over the river in Triana, Triana Backpackers has that homely feel that makes hostels in Andalucia really stand out. Set back off the row of bars and clubs that is Calle Betis, and surrounded on all sides by outstanding tapas options, it’s perfect for getting to know one of Seville’s most attractive (and lively!) old quarters.
Friends Backpackers
A relative newcomer to the Seville hostels scene, Friends Backpackers has got one asset that’s pretty hard to beat: an amazing Cathedral-side location! But that’s by no means the only thing they’ve got going for them: separate male/female dorms and a fabulous sun terrace complete a seriously compelling package.
Samay Hostels Sevilla
Samay Hostels Seville is just round the corner from the Alcazar (with views into the gardens) and a gentle stroll into the breathtaking heart of Seville’s Old Town, the Barrio de Santa Cruz. The hostel itself is as clean as a whistle and well-known for the friendliness of its staff, which, when you get down to it, is what really makes a hostel tick!
