Nightlife on the Costa del Sol

Boasting some of the hottest restaurants and night spots in Spain, the Costa del Sol attracts visitors  from all over Europe. From classy fine dining restaurants with views over the Mediterranean, to the more raucous karaoke bars and all night discos, there is something here for everyone. Casinos, English pubs, beach bars, tapas joints and the ever popular flamenco shows can all be found in the coast´s fabulous resort towns.

Malaga, with more bars per square metre than anywhere else in Europe, Malaga, the capital of the Costa del Sol, has become one of the most chic cities in Andalucia to eat and drink.  Pavement cafés sit beside quirky boutique hotels and some of the finest tapas bars in Spain.

Torremolinos attracts revellers from all over the coast, and is renowned for its gay scene at La Nogalera.  The discos are loud and late, and many are still pumping music at dawn.

Benalmadena´s Marina is one of the liveliest clubbing and disco resorts of its kind on the Costa del Sol, and like its neighbouring town, Torremolinos, the resort is a magnet for a younger crowd of partygoers as the music continues all night.

Fuengirola offers late night visitors a host of fabulous discos and clubs.  These lively late night venues cater to all age groups, and many of the sea front hotels also host discos and parties late into the night.

Marbella is one of the more elegant late night venues, and everything can be found here close to the seafront or in the old town around Orange Square.  Marbella´s night clubs discos are legendary.

Puerto Banus is the best place to find more luxurious and opulent night life, and although you will pay more for the privilege, the discos and clubs have late licences.

Estepona has a more casual approach to nightlife, and many of the music bars are situated in the Marina area. Open until late and attracting a younger crowd.
