Toastmasters International is the globally leading non-profit organisation
with 9.800 Clubs world-wide aiming for better communication to foster
human understanding. The Clubs provide a friendly and mutually supportive
learning environment in order to give the members a chance to practise
their communication and leadership skills. It is the perfect place
to cross boundaries, overcome fears and boost your self-confidence.
People of ALL nationalities, professions and age groups are made
to feel welcome. In Spain you will find Clubs in Alicante, Barcelona,
Cadiz, Fuengirola, Madrid, Mallorca, and Marbella. In the Andalucian
Clubs the meetings are in English.

Barbara Hofmeister, the founder of the Clubs on Costa del Sol, is
very enthusiastic about Toastmasters: "The Toastmaster educational
system is the best and most time and cost effective Self-Development
tool I have come across plus it is great fun" she says. As
Senior Vice President of an internationally operating Personal Development
Training Corporation, she should know. At the moment Barbara develops
an Online Toastmasters Club with members from around the globe meeting
in a virtual Conference room. "I am so excited about this new
opportunity. With this we can help people who have no Club near
them. As long as they have an Internet connection, they can join,
learn and enjoy"
At the moment there are 3 Clubs in Southern Spain:
