Ama Dablam Alpine Club
San Pedro Alcantara based association for people
interesting in all types of mountaineering was founded in 1973
under the presidency
of Manuel Gonzalez. There are more than 80 members at present.
(2003 January). Every month the association organised expeditions
and
talks by well-known local mountaineers. Some of Ama Dablan's members
have taken part in some very important expeditions to some of
the
world's most famous mountains. For more information contact the
