Club Internacional de Marbella
The Club Internacional de Marbella bring well known
Spanish speakers to town each month from September to July, to their
dinners which are held in various Marbella Hotels, generally on
the third Friday of the month.
The C.I.M list during the last ten years includes
many famous names such as politicians Jose Maria Aznar and his wife
Ana Botella, Cristina Almeida, Santiago Carrillo and writers Camilo
Jose Cela and Manuel Alcantara. Severo Ochoa, Fernando Campo and
Luis Vazquez Alfarache.
Though the talks are in Spanish, President Ricardo
Bocanegra, always a champion of the coast's international residents,
welcomes foreigner resident to join what is as its name suggests,
is an "International", independent and liberal Club open
to all ideologies, provided they are introduced by an existing member
or by C.I.M. President Ricardo Bocanegra. For more information contact
