LA CALA-MIJAS LIONS CLUB
The Lions Club of Mijas La Cala does much fund-raising
for charity. It meets every second and fourth Wednesday at 19:30
(no meetings mid June to mid August) at the Mijas Playa Restaurant,
La Cala de Mijas. All nationalities attend this small charity, membership
group. All nationalities welcome.
This very active branch of the Lions Club has recently
opened a new charity shop in Calle Torremolinos. Shop hours are
10:00 - 14:00 and gifts, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac and nearly-new

The Club organizes many events and has a very successful fundraising
record.
They have a particularly helpful Diabetic Support
Group which meets on the last Friday every month at El Gusto Restaurant
at 11:00 a.m. Nurse in attendance at meetings to take blood pressure.
Supportive advice offered. As well as the monthly meetings, there

Benalmadena Lions run
a shop in Arroyo de la Miel which sells books in English, Dutch,
German, Spanish and all Scandinavian languages, bric a brac,
and
clothes. It is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from
11 to 14.00 and is situation in the local behind the shop Candy
in
Ave. De la Constitucion Edificio 3 - 3C Arroyo de la Miel. For

La Cala Lions meet at the La-Cala on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm. If you would like join please ring the President on 661 386 564. You would be most welcome.
