As well as founding her Museo del Baile Flamenco in Seville, dancer Hoyos is also a widely-travelled diplomat promoting flamenco around the world. The museum also houses a dance school and is dedicated to maintaining the living tradition of flamenco. A favourite of film director Carlos Saura, she has also appeared in his version of ‘Carmen’ and other works besides.
