Re: Pay as you go

Not quite sure what the O.P means. Buy a sim card in spain to use in the U.K?

Most sim only month to month contracts are probably just as cheap if not cheaper than p.a.y.g unless you make very few calls. Many have calling overseas tarrifs

Re: buying

Estate agents just seem to nick each others properties and advertise them as their own inorder to get a finders fee .hence all the different prices you see.for eg we looked at house 4 years ago it was on and still is on with several agents and several of those agents claim the property as an "e...

Re: Gibraltar

In my humble opinion Gibraltar is worth a visit to see the view from the top of the rock, the monkeys, the caves and the historical aspects of Gibraltar. Not worth the visit for:- Shopping as we found the selection of clothes inferior to what we could get locally. Eating out as found the meals disa...

Re: Migraines

I think the feverfew that ive been taking for maybe a year and half have helped. My issue is i also suffer with a neuralgia type pain in my jaw that goes into my temples and the side of my head and then turns into headaches.normally starts on a morning when i wake up with a really stiff aching tense...

Re: Strange samsung smartphone battery issue

Thanks. Its been fine during the day when on. Charges ok and doesnt lose battery life when on. I have noticed it tends to lose a bit of life overnight when turned off. Re: Gibraltar

We have taken the car in many times. Takes about 20 mins getting in.normally less coming out. The time it takes is the just the build up of traffic and it going down to one lane as you go into gib.certainly not customs issues as getting your passport checked going in takes all of 5 secs and you will...

Re: Gibraltar

I guess the novelty issue is the main factor. Seeing uk traffic lights telephone boxes etc. Its all very random and abit confusing. I guess its one of those places that if you havnt seen then its worth it for the above as it is unique in that sense but also one of those once youve seen it youve seen...

Re: Gibraltar

Do you like morrisons supermarkets? I suppose it might be worth a night for the novelty value and to go up the rock if you like good views and theres the tunnels etc that you can take on one of the organised trips. We go twice a year for banking and to do a morrisons shop and a look around some of t...

Re: San Juan Bajo Parking/Tram for Sevilla

Have you looked at the free parking next to blas infante metro station. It a huge scrubland area a couple of stops from puerta jerez. The land is used for the april fair but i guess it should be ok for easter? We have parked there in the past and left the car there for several days with no issues as...

Re: Failing a driving licence medical

Thanks all i did seem rather odd and rather extreme to move cause you supposedly failed. Made me wonder if it was just a made up reason to either stop driving or move or both. As you say they would just get some meds instead.

Anyone know what happens inregards to the uk though if you fail.
