Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

Do you mean it has a padlock when it is in a folder on your computer or after you have uploaded it to A.com? It may have some kind of copyright protection that has been transferred to the jpeg file or the system may be rejecting it because it is a written document rather than a graphic. Can you not ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Yes, 2% for both of these municipalities. It depends on the date of the last municipal revision not the date of construction.

Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

If you go directly to the Property Registrar web site it gives various options to identify the property but I don't think the referencia catastral is one of them as this is held by Catastro. Third party web sites charge through the nose for a service which costs just over €10 with the official one. ...

Re: Late ITV

You get a discount for taking the test on or before the due date so will you lose that. If there is a gap of more than a month there is a surcharge. If you are stopped by the police or Guardia Civil with an expired ITV you will be subject to a fine. The fact that you have an appointment does not neg...

Re: Yearly tax on house ownership

You should pay an annual resident's tax on any property you own (other than your habitual residence) which is calculated in the same way as the annual non-resident tax. There is a section for this on your annual tax return.

Transfer tax is payable on the purchase of a property.

Re: N322

Some of the information they have given has been dangerously inaccurate and contradictory. The law as interpreted by one of these people may be entirely different from the way it is interpreted by another so, as Spanish_lad said, don't take what they say as gospel.

Re: Finding a gestor

You did not ask for a recommendation you asked where you could find one. I did not generalise about Spanish people I made a comment about the legal profession based on personal experiences, an opinion that is shared by most of my Spanish friends.

Re: Calling an ambulance.

You could find out the co-ordinates of your property and give them in the event of an emergency but reading out a string of numbers accurately when your house is burning down or someone is lying on the floor (or even if your boat is sinking as in Tony Hancock's Radio Ham) may be somewhat taxing.

Re: Finding a gestor

There are dozens, perhaps hundreds, of gestors in the Marbella area. https://www.google.com/search?name=f&hl=en&q=gestores+marbella The difficulty is finding a good one. Someone may have a recommendation but I would never trust my taxes or any of my paperwork to any Spanish lawyer, gestor or...

Re: Gestor fees

It is certainly much easier now than it used to be. I remember in the mid 1980s slaving over an Olivetti portable typewriter with the result of all my calculations written lightly in pencil on the form which I then erased after typing them in with a bottle of Tippex at hand. When the first PADRE pro...

It seems to be the correct link. Unfortunately I have no documentation with which to check as my town hall is not covered by the patronato.

Try this as an alternative link:

https://portalweb.prpmalaga.es/APP_CARTAPAG/init.do

I don't know why there should be two.

Re: Gestor fees

You may find the online form a little difficult and confusing to use in the first instance. Why not have a look at it when it becomes available in April leaving yourself plenty of time to ask the Gestor to do it if necessary? I cannot do a guide to the technicalities of its completion as I have with...

Yes, I did exactly the same. The APKfollow one is the latest and works perfectly. Well, as perfectly as one can expect any BBC app to work. Perhaps 'adequately' would be a better word to use. Edit: We posted at exactly the same time. Glad you have got it working. The next update hopefully should wor...

Re: BBC Sounds App for Android

I downloaded the APK from APKfollow. I ran it through several security checks before installing both on my PC and my phone it and it showed clear. It is 32mb which is exactly the same size as the app on the Google Play Store and is the latest one which was released on 5th November. Since installing ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

The fact that you failed to write your NIE number should not cause a problem. It is the same número de justificante for all the pages and it seems the paper forms never go to the tax office anyway. It can be paid in cash at virtually any bank. It does not have to be your own branch or even your bank...
