Re: New Year's Eve - Malaga

Thank you guys - it's not so much about entertaining the 25 year olds - it's more about finding a lively place, so we'll definitely start at the port - just need to find a few open bars (i hear most are closed and if they do open, they do at 12.30am after new year - or have I been misinformed?).

New Year's Eve - Malaga

Hi! Does anyone have any great suggestions of where to go in Malaga for New Year's Eve 2013 celebrations? Have 25 year olds with us who want to party (but more interested in bars not night clubs)! And fireworks if possible? Thank you!

Re: Farm Quad bike seller recommendations please

I am looking for a farm quad (but road legal). I would also be interested in buying trailer/cutter/plough attachments for it. Needs to be 4x4 and robust. Does anyone have thoughts on who I could contact to help me please? Or do you know anyone going back to the UK who would like to sell off their fa...

Re: Electricty Accounts from April 2013

As a non permanent ex pat - who would be responsible for reading the metre? Do they take responsibility for reading? Or do we have to assign a local friend to sort it out? Would be good to know. Thank you.

Discount sports shop in Malaga

Hi! Does anyone know a good discount sports shop in or near Malaga (we are about to move to Alora)? Trying to get tennis racquets, archery, golf equipment, bikes etc. And general sports gear. Doesn't need to be posh - bit like a Sports Direct type place? Or a good second hand shop/market - we will o...

Re: building a tennis court

thank you for your responses! I shall go on a local town investigative trip! One thing we have learnt though is not go clay as its very high maintenance, and ever though much cheaper than tarmac, a bit of a bore to upkeep. I'll keep you posted if we have any major breakthroughs (if your interested?)

Re: building a tennis court

Or even if you know someone who may know someone, any information would be great. Struggling to find any tennis court construction info online that's got any relevance to Spain and it's climate etc.
Thank you again...
