Re: Mijas Pueblo turn off on AP7 Toll Road

Personally, I would exit at the Fuengirola exit just before the Toll road starts.

Re: Where to next

Zuheros and it’s surrounds are certainly attractive.
We have visited and stayed at Hacienda Minerva close by - a beautifully restored mill with some eclectic decor features. The roof terrace is a great spot for a gin and tonic while you try to spot the eagles soaring.

Re: Malagacar.com 15% discount

They are not the only company to restrict mileage on cheap or short term hires....but it’s not really small print! It is there quite clearly in the t’s an c’s if only people would read them and not just skim over them,

Re: Rute

Also be aware, Rute is very hilly and suited more to mountain goats.....or at least that’s my view of the place.
We have friends who lived there for a few years (working as an estate agent) but unfortunately she had severe arthritis problems and they have returned to UK.

Re: Airport Run

I asked the question to see if the OP really did have that in mind . The risks associated with unlicensed “transfers” have been highlighted on here (and other sites) many times but there still seem to be a few chancers around.

Finca,
The final train stop is of course Alameda Central - which contributes to the longer walk!

Re: iPad lightening charger cables

I’ve had my I-pad and I-phone for two years now, use the same charger cable, and have never had a problem with it. Am I just more careful or plain lucky ?

Re: I Really Must Make More Effort !!!

It’s a couple of years since we last did a trip to the Alhambra but , I must say, I don’t recall being overcome with “swarms” of tourists. It is true that you get a timed slot for visiting the Nasrid Palace but this only applies for entrance to the palace - once in you can wander at your leisure (as...

Merry Christmas to one and all :)
It’s just about time for me to go into self-induced exile in the kitchen and start the preparations for the traditional family feast tomorrow. By 5.30 tomorrow afternoon I will be (more than a little) relaxed having enjoyed the fruits of my labour.

It’s the only “commodity” I am aware of that exists only as an idea :/
Mind you, my understanding has always been, at least since I became involved in the real world, that a commodity was something that could be touched.
