Pamplona feria on tv

A guest is insisting on watching the Pamplona bull fights and bull runs on tv. Are these still shown live on RTVE?

Not interested in ethics, just the tv Station for him to watch and decide.

Re: Insight into Spanish Property

The UK is one of very few countries where buying a property is seen as an "investment". In most countries people buy a house if they think they will live in it to the end of their days - or they rent. I have lived in USA, Germany, France. Only in the UK are they property bonkers! In the US...

Re: XBMC

Yes the poor chap was on the phone for ages to us. Sent a load of updates and upgrades. It kind of worked and then it didn't. Better to view through the TV apps on a smart tv or use NOW TV. Even better record programmes and play back from Laptop to tv via HDMI. Android TV box now gathering dust.

Re: Current ADSL speeds available in Frigiliana area

What are BB4S like these days? Their ads seem to imply faster speeds and no slowing you down after a daily dose of 1.5GB. How does it compare to a landline deal?

Damp proofing prevention/tiliing etc

Hi Just bought a cortijo and the first thing I want do is reduce the damp (its not severe but the plaster is flky in places). Looking at the structure the immediate impression for me(non expert) is as follows: No guttering so rain all falls down to base of walls. Terraces above rooms do not have a s...

Re: House description

Sid It is an underbuild. It is described as: "Tiene anexo a la vienda un local para utiles de labranza con una superficie construida de veintenueve metros" Can I confirm that I should not be using this as an apartment/bedroom. Would I get permission to do so from Ayuntamiento do you think?

House description

I am thinking of buying a house. It consists of lounge diner kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a 1 bed apartment with bathroom underneath with separate entrance. The offical documentation in the contract refers to a 2 bed, 2 bath house and "an 29 metre annex for storing agricultural tools&qu...

Re: Community debt

Community debt. Wrong words. "our money", "its money" probably moe accurate.

Quite straightforward leaving aside all other cmplications: Community fees not paid for 3 years.

Re: Community debt

OK, assume non of the complications raised. At what time is the debt recovered assuming the debt is on a property and all other debts (mortgage, utilities etc) are being serviced as per contract. For example the owner has paid for the electricity and water to be re-connected to this apartment. When ...

Re: Community debt

The original owner has disappeared. Putting your name on the land registry is entirely optional in Spain. All it means is the original owner (still on the land registry) can sell the property again and if the new buyer puts his name on the registry that's that!!!! We know who the real owner is from ...

Community debt

Hi we have a frustrating situation with a long term (3 year) debt for community fees. The story goes something like this: 1. Original owner sold house to a spanish guy. 2. Land registry never changed so still shows original owner. 3. Numerous and lengthy (c 1 year) attempt to track down original own...
