Re: Norwegian Air

Flying Norwegian for the first time for our Xmas trip back to the UK. Hand luggage only but at the moment I can't see any way to checkin online. There is a link in MyTravels but it doesn't seem to go anywhere just reloads the same page. Too early probably, but surely then it should display a message...

Re: Have You Tried This ????

There's another excellent treatment for aches and pains, and it seems to work. You need a supply of weed tho'. Not to smoke or ingest, but to make a linament which you rub on to the infected area. If you have access to some it's easy to make. Take a mason jar or similar and simply put an ounce of bu...

Re: Have You Tried This ????

Pat, you can probably buy quantities of less than 1000, but given the postage cost it's probably not worth it. I recently bought 2 x 1000 from eBay UK, delivered to Spain for a shade under 20 quid. Should last us a while... Bit tedious but once you get into a rhythm its OK. I'd guess at under 10 sec...

Re: Travel clinic

So been there, done that. Have to say that they were very efficient for our appointments. Had a couple of slots booked online for which they sent email reminders a day before. The doctor we saw spoke fluent english which was something of a relief. However as she pointed out when I proffered my NHS c...

Re: Televidiosat and iptv box questions

Another hmmnnnn. Just turned of location and it is still working on my tablet. Completely off the wall suggestion here. Maybe it only checks your location on first run and stores it in cache. As you said you installed it whilst in the uk so maybe if this is the case yours checked OK as being in the ...

Re: Televidiosat and iptv box questions

Quick update. Just installed a location faker app. Use it to fake my GPS location to UK and tvplayer works when I enable location services.

Need to try it on my TV box, but of course that doesn't have GPS sensor so not sure if the faker app will work in that instance. Have to play.

Re: Televidiosat and iptv box questions

FT, have to admit that I haven't tried the very latest tvplayer release. I'm still running 3.1.x as the subsequent 3.3.x releases demanded that location services be enabled otherwise it simply exited the app. Hence I turned off autoupdate and stuck with 3.1 since it worked on my tvbox with DNS redir...

Re: Televidiosat and iptv box questions

Thanks markwilding for your full reply, very helpful. I read a post and the replies about Amazon fire suggesting that a new release is imminent, is a Fire the same thing (in layman's terms) as an iptv box? Setting up a vpn is probably not viable for payg wifi for holiday visits. Thanks Z Basically ...

Re: Travel clinic

In a nutshell they said that at the moment the farmacias don't have the innoculations so therefore can't do it. Wasn't clear whether that meant that they could do it at a later date... They suggested the travel clinic... :-) Maybe you can go to the travel clinic and pay for the jabs... Might be wort...

Re: And The Best Supermarket Is.......

Mostly use Mercadonna with a smattering of Lidll, Eroski, Supersol depending what we actually want. I get the impression that Mercadonna's prices have gone up quite a lot in the last few months. Haven't been very scientific just notice that the bill at checkout seems to be consistently more than it ...
