Re: "go to" cafe/restaurant near Malaga airport

Upstairs is marginally better but then you have to run the gauntlet of lets have a look around and emerging three hours later with stuff you didnt really need and tired visitors. No you don't, head for the toilet...

Re: Home after the French trip and Andalucia road journey.

I guess we touched lucky driving back through France on the Saturday and Sunday as the roads, especially on the Sunday were dead. That's probably because almost all HGVs are banned from the roads on Sundays. Sid Except if its agricultural products , milk tankers and fridge trailers with perishables...

Re: Home after the French trip and Andalucia road journey.

Although I said never again I would maybe take 4 days to do it again (the only reason I drove it was my wife refused to go Brittany Ferries Economie again as our last crossing was 29 hours). Re: Home after the French trip and Andalucia road journey.

We did the same trip last week leaving the vets (for dogs passport ) at 11.00 which is a lot later than I usually like to leave, up through Granada on the new motorway to Motril, through Madrid on the M50 to Aranda de Duro for the night, that took 7 hours. Next day from Aranda to La Roche sur Ron, a...

Re: Summer ferry crossings from UK to northern Spain

To be honest, dont bother with Economie , we have used it several times as we can have the dog with us in the cabin , the last crossing in April this year bored us ****, 29 hours with nothing to do but sleep in the cabin with a pillow that went flat to the mattress with the weight of your head on it...
