Re: Ryanair industrial action July

Booked our flights for next Easter however considering they are within the first 2 weeks after 29th March which is when we leave the Eu im expecting turmoil...Booked with Easyjet, been let down by Ryanair and fed up of their strike actions, i am not prepared to pay a few quid less to take a chance o...

Re: Itchy Feet..

Had a feeling it was going to be numbr 1 but at least you came to a decision and perhaps now your feet might stop itching. Those kind of life changing decisions are not easy, they can drive your mind up the wall trying to decide what to do and sometimes it leads to over thinking to the point where m...

Re: Itchy Feet..

I think you're a bit of a tease Gordon, remember...you wont be going anywhere until you sell your house ( unless of course you're loaded!).  Yes he is country boy, but his post made me chuckle on this Sunday morning  selling his house won't be an issue if he chooses option one, ...

Re: Drive repair in the campo

I thought this might be the case, the other reason why i question it.. is because.. both the nota simple and the cadastral disagree with the square mtrs of land to the property and this was pointed out at the notary. The previous owner said he thought the difference was because of the track. All soun...

Re: Itchy Feet..

Gordon, waiting for your response with anticipation, are you going to tell us there is a 5th option? :lolno: Your posts are always interesting reading and this one is not just interesting but you have got us all in suspense. You must have guessed that we needed a well deserved break from Brexit. :th...

Re: Drive repair in the campo

I'm interested in this, there is a track which leads to our property and the track runs directly through our land which splits it into two lots, it stipulates on the nota simple that the track can not be obstructed and nothing can be planted on it, not that we would want to because it gives us an ac...

Re: Itchy Feet..

Wicksey said she can not imagine herself moving back to Uk and how she feels a foreigner in the Uk...I suppose it can seem daunting moving back to a country that you left many years ago, things change and the country of origin will not feel like the same place where you once belonged, hence feeling ...

Re: Spanish government planning action on owners of empty homes

Lavanda, yes very confusing!..as a general rule i don't do the costas that much, an odd night stop over before a flight out of Malaga however i've seen many half build appartment blocks abandoned due to the boom and bust years, add those to the empty properties and there is no logic. We were in the p...

Re: Spanish government planning action on owners of empty homes

I'm all for properties in bad repair and past saving being demolished and being rebuilt, much better to clean up the community and keep it apt and vibrant than to think the answer is to put Wimpy homes on out of town suburbs.. which by the way are built in the style of cardboard rubbish..Well that's...

Re: Spanish government planning action on owners of empty homes

Quite a number of years ago hubby was told by some Spanish locals that the gov were cracking down on new builds in villages and towns. The general idea was to restore the run down derelict empty homes of which there are many in the village where he once lived.I have seen little evidence of that happe...

none residents

This question is mostly for non residents although those who reside permanently in Spain please join in if you wish to.. Firstly, i am or seem to be always happier when i'm at my house in Andalucia, some may say it's because i'm in holiday mode. Is it though?.. When we first get to the house it's ab...
