Re: Van or towbar and trailer?

How about deleting the offensively worded post to baroness if you are going to delete both my own and costakids observation of it?

Re: Granada City Traffic Fine

Yes Mark ironic, i was a little surprised when he said he hated driving in Granada having come from the big city of Madrid but there you go, i put it down to familiarity and what he's used to.

Re: Legal report

I'm sorry beachcomber but it did regularise properties...as you say it may not have legalised them but the amnesty did regularise them... Unless you know or have been in a position of the cadastral amnesty then you can only speculate, too many on here are always trying to put people off buying while...

Re: Spanish government planning action on owners of empty homes

Wouldn't bet on it Al, hard to find good quality skilled workmen these days who actually take pride in their work...I know 3 people who have bought new homes in different areas and all have reported many problems, electrics/plumbing etc etc..

Re: Legal report

It seems to get more and more complicated with property in Spain..there is always something new causing people to have to jump through one hurdle after another..If many properties as some say just can't be sold then the Spanish government are losing out on the tax they charge and no doubt there will...

Re: Sister moving to Velez Malaga

Make sure the lawyer checks the castral worth of the house as ive read lots of cases of people thinking they were getting a bargin only to be landed with a hefty tax bill down the road[/quote]

Does checking the castral worth mean you can also be sure you are not paying over the top?

Re: theta healing - help/advice badly needed!

I would think that anyone going on a course to like themselves more has underlying issues, or is this a joke? Sounds like depression...low self esteem etc...however it sounds like whatever this treatment is has put him on a high and his behaviour sounds similar to a manic depressive, they talk fast...

Re: Terrace/Balcony Rails (Barandillas)

Agree with Enrique, we needed rails all around the pool as well as 2 new entrance gates and a field gate. The local metal merchants came out and measured up, we chose a simple design, one without too much intricate pattern ( would drive me mad having to paint some of them you see) .We were really hap...

I was a passenger going up to Competa, that was bad enough but the coming back down was scary, i remember thinking that i wouldn't want to travel the road to work each day, not my idea of fun..

Re: Looking for a holiday home around Competa, Sedella and Salares

So what has the M25 got to do with the posters question? It was a joke about the torrox competa road seeming to be the longest 11kms ever. Do you not have a sense of humour?????????? Oh dear, a 1,000 question marks! so how many versions of a sense of humour do you wish me to answer...or is this ano...

Re: Looking for a holiday home around Competa, Sedella and Salares

In all honesty what one area/village or town is good for one person may not be good for another..I think your best bet is that when you do go over is to have a good look around..there are lots of places to see within an hour or so of the airport...all lovely in their own way..I personally love the d...
