Re: Santander 123 account

Reading the pre contract conditions, it says it is open to residents and non residents providing you fulfil the criteria. I can not imagine the Nerja branch not having an English speaking person on the staff.

Re: annual car rental excess insurance

I took out an excess policy with Atlas, I haven't got more details to hand, but that was for hiring in the UK using my Spanish address. All done online. Never had to put it to the test though! It was accepted with no problems at the hire car desk

Yes, this guy has been operating in this area for years. His wife must have been in hospital now at least 10 years! His story is always the same or very similar. I gave him a few euros once and he made it obvious that he wanted more.

There was some talk a couple of years ago about getting Malaga cathedral finished. I think that died a death in the current economic climate.

It might be a play on words, my ISP offers what it calls 'air fibre' its not fibre at all but a fast Wimax connection.

Re: Cost of Prescriptions for Pensioners

From memory (and that's not reliable) I went on the Health website and accessed my data which told me where I was registered, who my doctor is and also my nurse. Additionally it stated what my contribution is ( 10% in my case with a monthly apportion of €8.23).

We use an empty spice jar filled with water, freeze then put a coin on top of the ice. If the coin is not on the top when you return it will indicate that there has been some defrosting.

I do not think that one exists for watching UK free to air channels ( by the letter of the law), but subscription channels ( Sky, Netflix)from April will be a different story.

Could you not get a VPN router and connect it to your Movistar router then route whichever device you need to through this VPN router? You would have to apply your NORD VPN file to this router. The instructions on how to do this you would get from NORD.

Re: Price of paracetemol in Spain

Not all electrical items have multi lingual instructions, it depends on the targeted consumers/distribution area. Items made solely for Spain would have instructions in Spanish only. Likewise for medicines, if I need any clarification on dosage/usage I ask the pharmacist or go online and get the pro...

My own figs have never been irrigated in the last 15 years other than that which nature sends and I am rewarded by huge fig crops.

Just my luck for tempting fate that this year they will fail :problem:

We have had a 60% cut in our allowance and once that allowance is used we will be physically disconected. So no chance of buying your way through the current drought. Will not affect those with illegal connections though!
