Hope they don't wait until it lands on someone's head before they fully address the problem.

Re: BEING MADE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANTER

The simplest solution to resolve the problem would be to remove the planters. No planter, no problem and nothing to insure but household insurance may well cover this if declared.

Has your antenna always pointed towards Periana? Winet have a mast in Iznate that is located near the viewing platform. But of course if you can not see it they will have pointed your antenna to one that is in line of sight.

Reading the pre contract conditions, it says it is open to residents and non residents providing you fulfil the criteria. I can not imagine the Nerja branch not having an English speaking person on the staff.

Re: annual car rental excess insurance

I took out an excess policy with Atlas, I haven't got more details to hand, but that was for hiring in the UK using my Spanish address. All done online. Never had to put it to the test though! It was accepted with no problems at the hire car desk

Yes, this guy has been operating in this area for years. His wife must have been in hospital now at least 10 years! His story is always the same or very similar. I gave him a few euros once and he made it obvious that he wanted more.

There was some talk a couple of years ago about getting Malaga cathedral finished. I think that died a death in the current economic climate.

It might be a play on words, my ISP offers what it calls 'air fibre' its not fibre at all but a fast Wimax connection.

Re: Cost of Prescriptions for Pensioners

From memory (and that's not reliable) I went on the Health website and accessed my data which told me where I was registered, who my doctor is and also my nurse. Additionally it stated what my contribution is ( 10% in my case with a monthly apportion of €8.23).

Re: Monitoring electricity supply

We use an empty spice jar filled with water, freeze then put a coin on top of the ice. If the coin is not on the top when you return it will indicate that there has been some defrosting.

I do not think that one exists for watching UK free to air channels ( by the letter of the law), but subscription channels ( Sky, Netflix)from April will be a different story.
