Re: Android TV box recommendations

Hi All Too big too quick eh?? :wtf: This isn't a sales pitch (which isn't allowed) but an alternate perspective What you have to remember is that the huge development curve in IPTV systems in the last two years means that boxes from 2014 bear no resemblence to the current 4K quad core platform, or i...

Re: Android TV Solutions Macclesfield

Re: XBMC

I bought the Android IPTV Mx box in October from AndroidTVsolutions recommended on this thread. It worked perfectly for about six weeks and I was more than pleased, then suddenly it got stuck on the Matricom start page and will not start up. I have contacted AndroidTV solutions, but they are next t...

Re: Has anyone actually lost their TV signal yet?

Hi all, It has been a while since I last visited. A little birdie (Thank-you Pat) mentioned you were discussing VPN's & buffering etc so thought I would pop by. We all know that the weakest part of this equation is the speed & quality of your internet connection. The speed test on the box is...

Re: Has anyone actually lost their TV signal yet?

If you have an iPad/iPhone then surely the best solution would be to have an Apple TV and stream through that. Otherwise, I am pretty sure the box supports streaming but David Latham is the person to answer that. You can certainly download to a USB stick and play from that. Sid You can indeed strea...

Watching via Filmon doesn't need a VPN, Smart DNS or whatever as it isn't geo blocked.
Watching via BBC iPlayer needs a VPN etc.

There are other solutions than filmon with the right VPN Gerry as I think you may discover

Re: Has anyone actually lost their TV signal yet?

Ok, I understand that, what I was trying to get out of you was how the Macclesfield box compare :) Hi There are lots of varied opinions about the effects that VPN's have on the speed and stability of an internet connection. As El Cid about buffering on his connection, I don't know. There was and is...
