Re: Certificate of Permanent Residence

Just to follow up. We successfully obtained our certificates of permanent residence yesterday. It was all very easy. We were called 30minutes after our appointment time and left an hour later with the certificates. It took so long because once having made the application at one of the desks we then ...

Re: Alioli

Milk....sunflower oil (not olive oil)...garlic and salt are the basic ingredients for a great alioli. Other additions, depending on your taste, could be lemon juice, a pinch of mustard, fine breadcrumbs or parsley. Play around with it. I usually just do the basic.

Thanks, hadn't realised that.
Still best to get a new green card now because of the change of address though?

Re: Certificate of Permanent Residence

Thanks for the link

On what basis are you applying for a TIE?

Thought it would be useful for ID purposes. I'm assuming I can get one for that reason? Also I thought that post Brexit it might be compulsory.

Re: Certificate of Permanent Residence

Will let you know how we get on. The appointment is on 24th July in Almeria and we're also applying for a T.I.E. I thought it best to get sorted before Brexit whilst we're still EU citizens.

Certificate of Permanent Residence

OK....so we have made the appointments for the above and to change our address. We currently have the old A4 green type certificates. Am I right in assuming we need to do the EX18 forms again? And regarding the tax...is it possible to pay in advance of our appointment or is it best to wait until the...

CurrencyFair....been using them for years to transfer our pensions from our UK bank. Always a better rate than getting it paid direct into our Spanish bank account.

Re: NIE updating

Sorry for butting in on this thread...but after reading it, am I right in saying that if I have moved house and in possession of an A4 sized green certificate I will need to renew it?

Re: Bus between Seville airport and the bus station

I was saying that it's the stop at the end at the Plaza de las Armas...but, yes... I believe it's also the end one at the airport. If it's busy at the airport stop there's sometimes someone selling tickets before you get on.

Re: Bus between Seville airport and the bus station

It's easy to find. I think there's 3 (or maybe 4) stops outside, ...whatever, it's the one at the end of the line for the airpòrt.

Re: Bus between Seville airport and the bus station

Yes, there is a bus...the EA Line. It runs about every 15 minutes.
Note, though, that the airport bus picks up and stops at a stop in the road outside and not inside the bus station itself.

Re: Smarty DNS

My Smarty DNS is due for renewal soon. Is it still a good option even though you have to use the London VPN for BBCiPlayer (which isn't a problem).....or is there something better? Other than the BBC iPlayer issue I have never had a problem with them.

Re: check driving licence address

Was easy...visited the "Casa de Cultura, Juventud e Infancia "Bayra" as advertised in the link. A guy there organised it all on his computer, then with a reference number we had to go to the Town Hall in Vera to identify ourselves and after that went back to the Casa de Cultura where ...
