Re: Organised car tours - Guardia Civil

As far as i know it is illegal to tailgate everywhere, on this basis there is no way 12 cars can travel in a line without permission. It may be an option to travel separately from A-B-C from place and assemble say at hotel, public area or car park. Spanish driving can be pretty aggressive and slow d...

Re: "tu" or "su"

Gasman,
You hit it right-on as its the banter i am talking of and it is just warm friendly greeting and approval.
I thought i should up my game a little in response which is why i ask.
I just interested in the views here.

many thanks...

Re: "tu" or "su"

This is a slight related question...
Which is the best "buena dia" greeting?
I go for a walk most mornings and because it is the same people most mornings i get so many different greetings i find it confusing.
I just interested in the views of the experts here....

Re: Ryanair industrial action July

Sid, You seem to think part of O'Learys brief is Employee rights. i am with the workers on this one but in my opinion when nearly every Country in Europe were doing deals with low-cost Ryanair to bring people to their towns/cities with their "dinero" Employee contracts should have being di...

Re: Ryanair industrial action July

Sid, I have to say i do not agree with you on this one. A few years ago there were all kind of deals being done with low-cost travel airlines and Ryanair basically got their way. I do not agree or disagree as this is what happened. I believe the principle in this problem is the lack of regulation in...

Re: catalan

Thanks for updates. Sid, thanks for the interesting article. Seems to me everyone wants this to go away ASAP which is really the only workable solution. To me Peudomont?? is totally discredited as he did a runner, the Germans courts said this, the Spanish courts said this so for all intents and purp...

Re: Track shown on catastro

I am guessing that if the track is on the title documents it be difficult if not impossible to have removed as it seems to have excisted for some purpose at a time. Can i ask if the track as you say has any connection with the entrance to your casa? Would it be an option to create 2 separate escretu...

Re: Malaga car hire.

I just wonder how busy Malaga Airport is for car hire pick-up. I have rental booked with Malagacar in a couple weeks. I am seriously considering using public transport to avoid the hassle of pick-up and drop-off. I really do not need a car but i surely do not need the hassle. I will be guided by you...

Re: Ryanair industrial action July

It seems to me it be illegal not to pay wages to a bank in a country other than these people are employed. There is certainly a change coming within Ryanair, some of their pilots have a one day strike next week. I think the OP post is referring to cabin crew strike or at least that's my info. I do n...

Re: Adding a second property to your escritura

I cannot give you a direct answer to your question. I think if you stop paying for the water it will just be disconnected and i do not believe there is any penalty going forward, i also assume that we can just ask for service be disconnected. I do not know if this option is available for basura. The...

Terry, https://www1.sedecatastro.gob.es This is a link supplied on here by "Enrique" a couple of years ago. You may be able to do abit of research yourself as from my experience lawyers will spend lots of time doing this as long as "dinero" is coming in. I found it pretty straigh...

Re: process and cost of updating an escritura

Sid, I do not think there will be a problem in getting the license as the project was done according to plan. The utilities were connected and it was about 3 years later that another person who was selling said it was a necessary document and i asked about it here. I am interested in knowing how the...

Re: process and cost of updating an escritura

It all seems strange to me that the Ayuntamiento supply a license to build. Then they do not fallow up by providing the necessary First License to live. Then the escritura is a completely separate matter, i am only working on the project my friend did but there are surely others, i am not 100% about...
