Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Hi Neville, How do you do the payment when you submit the form? I usually do "To Deposit" and then press the "Complete Payment" button. When I'm finished, I check my bank account and see that the amount has been debited immediately. If you use the Direct Debit option, I'm not sur...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Hi Neville, We are residents of the US and have always used 24% tax rate. I've just checked the instructions, and it looks like residents of the EU use 19%. (Who knows what it will be after Brexit). You may want to confirm that with the experts on this form, like Beachcomer. One other different betw...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

I am now limbering up to complete Modelo 210 for rental income. One further point has arisen. I note that in your worked example for 2017 you needed to fill in a Modelo 210 for every quarter. My question is, if in a particular quarter there was no rental income, do you still need to complete and su...

Re: "tu" or "su"

Right. Not to mention the formal "you" and it's plural! :?

tu = you
vosotros = you
usted = you
ustedes = you

Ay!

Re: "tu" or "su"

Ti Is the object pronoun. In English this would also be you but the difference is its function in a sentence. You love her. You is the subject pronoun, in other words, the person doing the action. In Spanish tu He loves you. Here you is the object pronoun and the action is being done to you. In Spa...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. 1. For rental income, you file Form 210 in first 20 days after the end of any quarter where you had rental income. For imputed income, you file any time during the year if your property was not rented any time in the previous year. 2. Imputed income goes by the year, no...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Yes, the quarters are: January - March, April - June etc. Needs to be done within 20 days after the end of the quarter. If there is any time period during the year when the property is not rented, then you also have to submit the Form 210 for imputed income. Here's my little cheat sheet on the Form ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

About the reference number / NRC... Yes, I believe it's like an electronic receipt, showing that you've paid. For example, we usually submit the 210 online with digital certificate. At the bottom of the form, when you select "to deposit", there is a place to fill in the NRC. There is also ...

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

There is normally no need to send anything in the post - AEAT will receive your payment through your bank, and are able to trace the modelo 210 form on their system through the reference numbers you have provided. If, however, AEAT do need any further information from you, this will be mentioned on...

060 Notificaciones

I recently got an email from notificaciones.060.es saying that the email address associated with my NIF/CIF/NIE has been removed from the notification system because it has not been used for notifications for 3 years. In fact, I have never received any notifications from them since I first signed up...

Re: Modelo 210 - Rental Income

Yes, there appears to be a way to retrieve the data from previous submissions with the new form. If you look on this page: https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AEAT.sede/en_gb/procedimientoini/GF00.shtml There is a section called "Filings using data from previous tax returns or from previous ye...

Re: changing status of Bank account to non-resident

We have the BBVA online account and are non-residents. We opened it as non-residents. We've had it for about 3 1/2 years. We have never been charged any fee for any kind of non-resident certificate. In fact, we have never been charged fees of any kind for the account.

Re: Request from Gestor

Hi AKOAko, Of late I've not seen any Government(Spanish) sites that have only shown the Digital Signature as means of access. Have a look round in which sites you're interested in, and check out access requirements........... :idea: Interestingly, while it looks like you can submit residents income...

The "Tipo" on your IBI is probably the tax rate for the IBI itself. Your valor catastral times the tipo should be how much you owe for the IBI. At least it is on mine.

Re: banks

We have the BBVA online account and have been very happy with it. See here for more info:
https://www.bbva.es/eng/particulares/cl ... /index.jsp

You can get everything on their website in English. And the best part is that there are no maintenance fees.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Enrique - Sorry, looks like I posted the link to the main page instead of the form 210 that I used. Here it is: https://www1.agenciatributaria.gob.es/static_files/common/internet/dep/aplicaciones/ov/ie62100a.html?idi=en Beachcomer - The old link works for you on Firefox? As I remember, you keep an o...

Hi Enrique. Your link appears to be the PDF version of the form. What I was testing was the "submit electronically" version. The electronic version appears to need Java and I think that's what was causing problems in the browsers.

Re: Comments and queries re FAQ for Non-resident income tax

Hey! FIrefox works! As I remember, the discussion here lately has been that only IE and older versions of Firefox work with the online version of Form 210 now. But I just tried with the latest Firefox (50.1.0) on Windows 10 and got it to work. I did it a different way that the previous times, though...
