Re: Leroy Merlin/Bauhaus Delivery

It’s not expensive. Try putting in a dummy order to get an idea of costs.

Re: Amendment to community rules - dogs/other animals!

I think if they are on a lead and not fouling then this would be difficult to enforce. What’s unnecessary walking around? They could well just be on their way for walkies outwith the community?? Our community rightly doesn’t allow them by the pool area.

Re: none residents

It seems that I’m not alone. I always have to do the cleaning routine before I can settle with a well deserved drink or three. That bloody dust gets everywhere. Thankfully all electric so no faffing around with gas.

Hi there, flight arrived last night at 9.30pm. Quite a big queue but well managed. Took 10 mins to clear passport control. Sat in our local bar by 11pm!

Re: Ryanair yet again!

Ryanair, you get what you pay for. I use them monthly no problems whatsoever. It's the numpties that don't read the terms and conditions that whinge. If you want a specific seat or to sit with family or friends, book and pay for it...simples!

Re: Architectural barbarity!

Cheers, hoping all goes smoothly. When I left last week, the water was scheduled to be turned off that day for water remedial works to commence, I thought I was going to be lucky and miss all the commotion, sounds like we may have a bit of disruption in store. Best make sure I have plenty of water a...

Re: Architectural barbarity!

I certainly shall keep all informed, updating as things progress. It is so helpful to "talk" it through with people that understand the system, a problem shared and all that! What does "sanction" mean??

Re: Architectural barbarity!

It's a totally new room build into the underbuild of our block of flats. My understanding is that it was done as an illegal add on to a reform the neighbours had done. I don't know the full story as we only moved in after works completed. It only came to light when the water company had to enter the...

Re: Architectural barbarity!

Hi there, I've asked for an inspection to ascertain if cracks etc are related to this building work. I'm hoping not but thought best to flag it and have it checked out. Our building is 20+ years old so maybe age related? Our neighbours are English. The president is very good at keeping everyone up t...

Architectural barbarity!

Ok there may be something lost in (google) translation, but the gist is we received an email from our community president yesterday to say that our immediate neighbours have constructed an illegal room in the underbuild of our block of flats. Architectural barbarity was how he described the build, s...

It's probably me that has it wrong....it's the roller type we want...thought about the louvre doors but lacking space to fold them back due to air con unit in the way...thanks for the pricing update, that's definitely affordable....

Aluminium persianas

Hi there, just wondered if anyone had had these fitted fairly recently? Any idea how much roughly for a patio door approx 180 x 210cm? Obviously I'll get a couple of quotes but if it's hugely expensive probably won't do until next year.

We used a great Spanish father and son team for our refurb recently. They did a fantastic job, so much so I missed them when they finished. A great professional job with lots of laughs along the way. The son spoke pretty good English.

Re: IKEA kitchen

We used the Ikea fitting service which was pretty reasonable in cost. They did a good job of the fitting so happy with our choice. We went to Ikea in Glasgow who did the plans for us, we then sent the plans online to Ikea Malaga. IKEA Malaga arranged for a site inspection with one of their staff and...

They've got a sale on. £60 returns Edinburgh to Malaga, my trips to Spain now all booked till November next year. Great airline, so far I'd say best crew of all the cheapo airlines. Love the free wifi.

2.50 a glass, but a damn fine glass and a lovely bowl of olives. I was in last Sunday evening and the atmosphere was brilliant. I'd go back for sure.
