Re: Now tv poor picture..

Never had problem on my UK box . Problem in Spain seems to have been in past few days. No problems on BBC etc but everything on the sky entertainment package has become unwatchable. Tried pulling plugs etc, checking updates but still hopeless.

Re: Movistar Fibre broadband.

I currently have movistarfusion for landline , broadband and a mobile. It is not fibre. But gives a speed of about 13 download and is quite reliable. I have had this deal for about 4 years and price has sneaked up progressively from 48 euros to 60 euros a month. Are movistar amenable to offering new...

European portable digital content.

As many will realise that recent e.u. legislation allows customers to watch paid for digital content throughout e.u. There are restrictions as it relates to use when travelling or on holiday in a member state provided content is paid for in home country. Primarily this relates to Netflix, sky and Am...

I noticed that the procession caterpillars are on the ground already in the colinas del Faro. Seems earlier every year and the previous years eradication programme by Mijas has lapsed this season. Dog walkers beware .

Re: Hide My Spanish IP

I find that my fire stick works fine on Netflix and various I players, but, on Amazon prime ,even with smart dns it recognises geographical location and will not play , except for a few programmes specifically allowed by Amazon.

Re: Replacement headlamps. Hyundai Tucson.

I think the real problem is the little crack that has allowed moisture into the fitting - in summer it is fine but condensation in winter is the problem . I wonder if I could dry it or and seal it somehow ?

Re: Replacement headlamps. Hyundai Tucson.

I was surprised at ITV , main problem is a slight crack in plastic on one lamp causing condensation at times. ITV carried out when warm . The car is 2 litre petrol auto 2 wheel drive.

Re: GP medical treatment in Marbella (inc general questions about Helicopteros Sanitarios)

In my experience helicopteros is excellent. It is not expensive and provides a home visit gp visit complete with attending nurse and paramedic. You can also see a gp at their offices in fuengirola or marbella. The response time is very good . In my view the big advantage is that if you require an em...

Re: Removing Artex from a ceiling

In my experience if some of the artex has cracked or fallen off it is best to remove the lot. It is a pain to plaster over and in any case this adds to the weight and is likely to start pulling artex from ceiling. Sad but unfortunately involves a lot of work. Don't forget to wear a mask and the asbe...
