Re: Renewing of Padron

That’s exactly it as we are buying a car. The agent needs the Padron to be up to date. Do we just go into the office and ask them to update it.

Re: New Car v Used Car

Yes we have seen all the bumps and scrapes. We have been looking at Kia’s online. Think that’s probably where we’ll start. Just need to find a dealer that’s easy to get to as we don’t have a car at the moment

Re: Registering with the Padron

Thanks Trooperman. We know where the Padron office is so will register there. So the next big question then is probably the hard one, applying for residency. I’ll have a look on the forum but any pointers would be great. Cheers

Hoping someone can let me know exactly what we need to take with us. Also if Private health insurance is required, where would the best place to get it. We are early r...

Re: El Palo to Torre Del Mar

Thank you so much. We have moved to Pedragalejo permanently and was really surprised the M160 route had changed.

Hi, we used to get the M160 from El Palo to Torre Del Mar but it now appears to only go to Rincon. Can anyone confirm if this correct. Thanks

Hi again, once we have the survey/valuation report which we obviously hope is good. Is it appropriate to go in with a lower offer.

Re: Surveyors in Torre Del Mar

Thanks for your replies. I have found a surveyor and after reading so much, probably too much on the internet, we, as very nervous buyers in Spain thought this was the best way for us to go. Does everyone think this is just a waste of money. Survey Spain SL. http://www.surveyspain.com Network of Cha...

Hi, I've tried to search the internet for ones closer to Torre Del Mar but can't find any that's why I thought I'd ask on the forum. We are not in Spain at the moment.

Surveyors in Torre Del Mar

Hi, can anyone please recommend a surveyor in the Torre Del Mar area. We are interested in purchasing a property in Almayate and would like to have it surveyed. We have contacted one that is based in Estepona but not sure if the fee they have given us is the going rate. They have quoted €1200 for a ...

Re: First scout of areas to live

Hi, well we did our tour in November and we have decided that inland living is not for us. We were perhaps a little naive regarding what some of the roads were like. Such a pity as the villages were beautiful, but twisty roads and sheer drops made me ill. We had to move after only 2 days from the ca...
