Re: Thinking of buying in Andalucia...

Has the Nerja market closed? I thought they still had a market.

As for La Herradura I like the place but it wouldn’t be for me to live there. I have been in winter and I found it very very quiet. There are some very good restaurants for quite a small town.

Re: Car Hire Yellow Spanner

Nothing to worry about. You could run it for years and it would not break down. The only thing is the oil will be thin and not do its job as well but thats not your problem.

Re: The Original Blues Brothers Band in Torremolinos

I wonder how long this advert will be live? Hi costakid, this is the "Events" section of Andalucia.com. I enquired before posting if those events that I am involved with or run myself could be posted here, and was told yes. It doesn't matter a jot to me personally but I know how hot Cid i...

Re: Ryanair industrial action July

Ok but I am flying to the uk this weekend for 40 euros. You can't get from Birmingham airport to London for that. Great airline, great prices and no one forces the staff to work there. I bet there were a lot of grateful pilots and cabin crew who loved Ryanair when Monarch went skint and he employed ...

Re: Telephone Cable crossing above veranda of property

you could use the excuse that you are thinking of putting something there in the near future. I would say better to get it moved now rather than later as once its been there for a while it may be more difficult to get the phone company to move it. Be diplomatic with your elderly neighbour and you sh...

Re: PICKING UP PEOPLE AT MALAGA AIRPORT

Why not just park in the other short term car park, the one almost opposite the old T2. The entrance is next to the rental car return entrance. Picking up my daughter yesterday it cost me 1.5e or thereabouts and no hassle. In the past it has cost as little as 60c. About time to police came and towe...

Re: La Cala del Moral Beach front restaurants/bars

The Lamb Tagine in Algeria is lovely. On a summers night its a lovely spot and it also gets the sun in the winter. La Cala property is really undervalued considering how close to Malaga it is. The seafront walk to Rincon is a real gem.

Re: PICKING UP PEOPLE AT MALAGA AIRPORT

if you overstay your 15 minutes you just put your card in on exit. Dont think it takes cash though. There is obviously longer stay car parks. I always park down the road and tell my guests to call me once they are up stairs and then i drive into short stay. It can be busy but I have never over staye...

Re: La Cala del Moral Beach front restaurants/bars

ok, coming in from Malaga side drive through La Cala, over the roundabout and take the next right, that is Calle Estacion. It goes in a loop to the right parallel with road you have just turned off and also alongside the beach.100 metres on left is a car park. There around 6 beachside restaurants al...

Re: Old driving licence

I still have my old licence and am also proud of it. I never renewed to photo because they only last so many years then you have to renew at a cost. My old one is valid until I am 75 I think. Twice I have been stopped by the Gaudia in the last 3 years and it was ok both times. I think 3000 Euros sou...
