Re: camping in Tarifa - which options do we have: official and furthermore

Now the summer is over the tight restrictions on parking near the beach and in carparks in not as strict. The N340 south of Tarifa is popular with VW camper type of vehicles.

This was covered a couple of months ago. All taxis will have a blue rear plate to get rid of the illegal cabs operating.

You could try the Yamaha music school in Malaga. They are in the Teatinos area but you can get a bus from the city.

Re: interesting neighbourhoods in Malaga city area and beyond

Just east of the city centre is Pedregalejo and El Palo. Well worth a walk along or get the bus, nice bars and restaurants and a great atmosphere. Also a good mix of Spanish and cosmopolitan.

OK, opposite the port near where the big wheel was. 2 rental shops there. If you stand with your back to the bus station where the wheel was you will be facing the bike shops.

Re: Property in Malaga province advice please

Miro, thet is my view of Torremolinos too. Gradually changed since the 90s to appeal to spaniards. Quite a few hotspots but overall not expatland like Benalmadina. A large gay community, friendly and not rowdy. If looking at renting I imagine it should be ok. The pink pound etc. There is a really g...

Re: Bedbugs in rented flat - who pays?

Paying 700 euros in the centre is not a lot of money the way things have gone over the last 3 years. Air BNB have slaughtered the private long term rental market. I actually dont think you have much of a chance legally of getting any money from your landlord unless you have just moved in. Morally he...

Re: Phone and internet in campo

Hi all, new to this forum so I apologise if this question has been asked more than once. We have just bought a property which doesn’t have a phone line or internet service. We don’t know how to get a line installed or even if we can get one as we don’t have a proper address (no post delivery) but a...

Re: Property in Malaga province advice please

As Miro suggests consider Torremolinos - I don't think it's any livelier than Benalmadena and generally less hilly! Really, have you ever walked from the centre down those steps to the beach in the summer. The only plus with walking down those steps is there are several bars on the way for a swift h...

Re: Property in Malaga province advice please

Benalmadena costa is obviously coast, slightly inland is Arroya which is only just up from the coast then the Pueblo which is a drive up from the coast but a walk down is doable. The language school at La Cala Del Moral is very good. classes or 1 on 1. 10kms from Malaga east is Rincon. You could loo...

Or at the supermarket yesterday because I wasn't sure which version of a product I needed to buy. A quick photo of both, sent in seconds, avoided problems.   So you are one of those people sent to do the shopping who has no idea what they are supposed to be getting and stand in the ...

The other good thing with netflix is you can have it in the UK and also in Spain as it allows multiple users on 1 account. Kids live in the Uk, you live in Spain everyones a winner.
