Re: Organised car tours - Guardia Civil

Perhaps you should join the Police if you want to be a policeman. How the hell can you have a likely illegal vehicle? There is a reason the police are the police.

Since free roaming and calls was introduced I do not use my Spanish phone as much as I have a UK phone also. Went to use the Spanish one today and it says sim not recognised. It is a payg phone, I have had the number for 20 years. I have gone outside the 6 months for top up. Have I lost it or is it ...

Re: Organised car tours - Guardia Civil

The important thing is not whether to have an ‘H’ plate (though this does have advantages re ITV and road tax) but to not ride around with no ITV or road tax on UK plates. No one will convince me that they drive a valuable classic car to the UK every year for an MoT! They may transport them. I have...

Re: Organised car tours - Guardia Civil

CCCA insist on your vehicle being a "classic" unless you have something exotic and then it is ok to join with a newer model.

If you are breaking no laws I can't see the police having a problem. All legal, stick to speed limits etc.

Re: Air Conditioning fitted

Klimacentro in TDMar fitted ours. The Spanish owner is brilliant. Really nice staff but the big English guy who works there can be a bit brash. His name is Mark. The service and price we had was great. We tried a couple of English companies and we were getting the guiri rate. Highly recommend Klimac...

A friend has a Cactus, good car but a bit too much plastic for my taste. Drives nice enough. Captur is also very popular.

I am just wondering if you boycott these bi...

Other companies operating under the same rules manage to do it, why cannot he do it? Customers can vote with their feet at no cost. Re: Help with accommodation in Andalucia

The trains only really cover from Malaga to Fuengirola on the coastal route in Andalusia but as you want to be in land that will not be a problem. Most major Cities inland are covered by a local or the AVE. Depends how far you want to be from the coast. The bus service in Spain is very good.

Well you may have a chance as the schools have returned and the season is ending. Any earlier you would have had no chance. Plenty of agents in Mojacar, Vera and Garucha.
