Re: Accident with hired car

Normal practice to sort it when you return the car. We had a bike hit a rental car years ago and knock the wing mirror off, left flapping by the cables so I had to exchange it but rental company said i should have kept it. Must be a Spain thing. If its drivable and usable dont worry about it.

Bizarrely you can still book a flight on the 28th on the Ryanair website. I suppose they take your money and return it if the strike goes ahead.

Clips of disasters can usually be found on Youtube. Lots of 60s stuff on there of old Spain but not sure about 1900.

Re: Rosé wine.

Spain now produces loads of Rose wines and they are all pretty dry. They vary enormously in taste as they use many different grape varieties. As a result the vary from a very light pink to a light red. One well know brand is almost a brown pink. What that means is than one person will recommend the...

Re: how to buy a used bike in Spain

Thats quite a journey. I would buy something descent for a journey like that. It is easily doable but if you want to enjoy it dont buy a decathlon 69 euro bike.

Both deals sound cheap. Perhaps Spain is at last getting competitive on its internet prices.

Re: Rosé wine.

Rose has made a bit of a comeback in recent years so some good ones around. I would go into your local wine store and ask.

Re: Cleaning products

We used to buy Domestos bleach from Carrefour for the toilets and cleaning aluminium sink etc. They do not stock it anymore. What product is as good. Bought something the other day which was ammonia based. Absolutely stunk to high heaven.

More scaremongering. Expect lots off sponsored adverts from Blevin Franks offering expensive advise. Is it not always been pay your taxes or expect a big fine if and when you get caught?

Re: Fuel prices

Thats actually slightly incorrect. Tesla have pulled out of the electric truck market. The only electric truck on the market is an independently built refuse cart. They will work a 10 hour shift and compact all day but are out of juice at the end of the shift. The order book is full for this company ...

Re: Organised car tours - Guardia Civil

Cant believe how many part time hobby bobbies are on here. Perhaps its because those of us who have bought Spanish cars have paid the same registration tax as these scumbags are trying to avoid by not registering their UK cars. I bought a new car 18 months ago and the registration tax was nearly €1...
