House Exchange - How to do it?

A friend out in Spain is looking to do a house swap with someone in the uk as neither are having any joy in selling their houses.

I am trying to find info on this, is it possible, costs involved, etc and wondered of someone could give me a start point, to help her out? I havent heard of it before.

freinds of mine, who were renting in spain, were going to come back and live in england. however, they has just heard that if they goes and lives in southern ireland instead, they can claim E198 a week dole & E150 a month for each kid. surely this cannot be true? i want to advise them to be caut...

thank you for the link mowser but as i said i am not going to be claiming or trying to claim job seekers allowance.
