We have never had a bill for IBI in the 5 years that we have been living here, dont think they send them to the campo. But the money comes out by DD when they feel like taking it, which can be any time from Sep to Dec.

Linea Direct have there own highway code as well, friend of mine indicated to turn left(normal single lane with dotted line in center) and on doing so when the traffic was clear on the other side, the car behind overtook her and smashed into her, according to LD when turning left you should wait fo...

Try a product called rataway do a google search, its made by a company in USA and you spray under the bonnet and it acts as a deterrent, seems to have worked for us and we have had lots of problems with rats eating cables.

Yes I really miss my spanish one, damn nuisance having to carry passport around. Most times driving licence is sufficient though

You need to buy special grout for pools and it is best to leave it full and covered and run the pump for at least an hour a day

It seems as though different communidad's of spain use different rules. Here in Chiclana our abogado uses the end of year figure which is fine by me, I am not going to argue.

In most cases you can use the old style (pink) Spanish driving licence as identification. I have been using mine for the last month whilst waiting for my new driving licence card to come through and I had no problems in any shops

We have just renewed our spanish driving licence the medical was a joke, only did a basic eye test, no co-ordination test and just asked general health questions, they then sent to Traffico and the new photo licences arrived 4 weeks later in the post,total charged was 59 euros each. We had the same shock today as well, they have actually refunded us 28 euros for all of the power cuts last year, and going by the amount of times the power has been off this year we should get another refund next year assuming that this is going to be an annual thing.

We have got the same problem with rats. We have tried spraying with an american product called Rat Away which does help a bit, but the blighter's still get in there and they like both cars, the Kangoo and the Rav4. Locals have suggested spraying diesel around where the car is standing as they say ra...
