This kid managed to find the loud speaker tannoy, so we had screaming all over the lounge and then he found out how to turn al...

Re: Fines, additional costs on IBI bill

We have never had a bill for IBI in the 5 years that we have been living here, dont think they send them to the campo. But the money comes out by DD when they feel like taking it, which can be any time from Sep to Dec.

Re: Do you know what leaves these animal droppings

Try a product called rataway do a google search, its made by a company in USA and you spray under the bonnet and it acts as a deterrent, seems to have worked for us and we have had lots of problems with rats eating cables.

You need to buy special grout for pools and it is best to leave it full and covered and run the pump for at least an hour a day

Re: Income Tax - Exchange rate

It seems as though different communidad's of spain use different rules. Here in Chiclana our abogado uses the end of year figure which is fine by me, I am not going to argue.

We had the same shock today as well, they have actually refunded us 28 euros for all of the power cuts last year, and going by the amount of times the power has been off this year we should get another refund next year assuming that this is going to be an annual thing.
