Re: HIRING A COACH

Yes I will be doing that when I get the group up and running. At the moment it is completely free to come to the group but when all the paper work is done there will be a small fee and then I can take out public liability insurance. Thanks for the tip though Mark. What trips do you do Mark...

Re: HIRING A COACH

Well that is basically what I am doing. However it is a pain collecting the money. I am all over the place, I was thinking more they could pay the Agent as well as me. I could take money at the meetings, but if they could not make the meetings like a lot didnt for last week the can pop into the Agen...

Re: HIRING A COACH

I would suggest if you worried about liability that you go to travel agent who do regular daily excursions and ask them to set-up the trip. I have only done one as really not my thing, i remember it was only something like €10 pp for day trip and you buy the tickets from travel agent so your out of...

Re: Payment day for Spanish pensions.

I didnt know that! I just presumed that everyone was paid on the 25th of the month. It certainly is not my birthday.

Any roads I have pressed the report button by mistake! :problem:

Gloops wrote:Does anyone know how the monthly payment day for the receipt of a Spanish state pension is calculated?

It is paid on the 25th of each month except December when it is paid a little earlier. I think everyone gets paid on the 25th and twice in July and December.

Re: HIRING A COACH

Yes car sharing is what we will do. I love the drive there, I go the back way to friends who live near the lake via Villa Villanueva del Rosario and Villanueva del Trabuco. Love that route, so scenic. However we will not be able to dawdle on the way if we are to make it at least by 10.30am. Easiest ...

Re: HIRING A COACH

Patricia, As stated you would be covered by the bus owner for actual travelling and you could ask the operator if they would include Public Liability Insurance for the period of your visits.( ask for a copy ) You could also arrange annual Public Liability Insurance in your name or in the name of yo...

Re: HIRING A COACH

I have just spent two days in Cordoba and didn’t notice a Medina. Do you perhaps mean the Mezquita which is a cathedral built within a mosque? Sid http://www.medinaazahara.org/ MEDINA AZAHARA CÓRDOBA It is just out side of the city of Cordoba. I used to be a guide you know! I went to Cordoba at lea...

Re: HIRING A COACH

Yes I was thinking of doing that Costa. No we are not a group of friends but I have not yet legalised the group and they pay nothing to join the group or come to the meetings. Once I legalise it there will be a small fee to cover things like insurance and a little put aside to purchase equipment wha...

HIRING A COACH

I have set up a Spanish History Group, I have not legalised it yet as I am waiting to see how it goes, however there are quite a few of us who would like to visit the Medina in Cordoba which means hiring a coach. Would I be liable if something happened ie an accident on the road or if someone fell o...

Re: 2018 IBI Bills - Vélez-Málaga

You have longer to pay this year. Last year and the years before that it was something like the 12th September, but this year you have until the 31st October to pay. You can always go along to the townhall and get your bill printed off. I have done that because, like you, I have received nothing in ...

Re: SmartyDNS

Just to say there is a SmartyDNS and a Smart DND - without the y - and the are different companies. The one without the y seems to be the most reliable one. As mentioned SmartyDNS sort out the BBC and it lasts for a short while and then it goes again.

Re: CANNOT OPEN BACK UP FILES

Hello Enrique,

I do not know! Every now and again the computer came up with "backup now" and so that is what I did! I purchased a 125gb to ensure I had enough room and backed up the next time the message came up, I do not know what program it was!

Oh dear!
