Second opinion on cancer scare - recommendations?

Hi, I found a lump in my breast whilst about 7mths pregnant with my 3rd child. The doctor advised me to wait until I had finished breastfeeding and then go and have an ultrasound scan. I breastfed my son for about 5 and a half months and then had a scan at the CDS hospital last month. The results ca...

Hi Julie,

I can second Dooby on the gynaecologist in Huetor-Tajar as I used her during both my pregnancies and would always go to her if I had a problem.

Hair salons

Hi,

Does anyone know of a good professional hair salon where they can advise the best hairstyle to suit your face? Someone told me that there's a male hairdresser somewhere near Marbella who advertises on the radio (sorry, no idea what station), and does just this.

Thanks,

Indoor soft playcentre

Hi there, My husband and I set up an indoor soft playcentre in Loja, Granada last year and I don't think I have ever posted about it on here (if I have, sorry for repeating myself). The centre comprises a large soft playframe with separate areas for babies under 12mths and for toddlers under 3yrs. T...

That is absolutely shocking! That poor girl. I just can't believe it. On a brighter note, I just wanted to say that I gave birth to both of my sons in Granada, and although (from what i've read and been told), it is way behind the UK in terms of pain relief (epidural was the only form of pain relief...

Passport for Portugal?

Hi,

When driving from Spain to Portugal, do you need your UK passport or are there no border controls like from France to Spain? If a passport is needed, would my spanish residency card be sufficient?

Many thanks,

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good dog kennels or better still, a dog sitter situated anywhere between Granada and the Costa Del Sol. Am looking for somewhere where I know my pooch will be well cared for for a few days.

Thanks,

Can anyone tell me a good website (spanish or english), for getting good deals on hotels here in Spain. I usually use atrapalo.es but this seems to be out of service at the moment.

meningitis vaccine

Hi Yummymummy, My son is now 11 months and has been having a vaccination called Prevenan, which is for meningitis. The government doesn't fund this particular vaccination so it is up to the parents if they want their child to have it, and therefore you have to pay (about 70€ each time and there's ab...
