Exactly the same thoughts and motives Gordon, even similar timings. WE'VE decided to cast fate to the wind and have put the house on the market, let fate decide, we are quite happy here but perhaps would like to be nearer family and speak the lingo properly if things get difficult towards the end of...

Re: Ryanair industrial action July

What it actually says: Following changes in January this year, the low-cost carrier has said non-priority passengers will no longer be permitted to take a small suitcase on its planes for free. Charges for a ten-kilogram case will be introduced in November. The earlier has seen passengers allowed to...

Re: Chumbo , white bugs

If you want to try and save them (why would you?) I am told that the cheapest way is spraying with a light washing up liquid and water solution but I suspect it will be a forever job as the beetles are here to stay. I planted over sixty Phoenix Canariensis when we arrived at our Finca in 2000, they ...

Norwegian no longer fly BHM/AGP but do still fly LGW/AGP. I agree, they are a nice little Airline, we hope one day to use them to go to the States. They are in a spot of difficulty at the moment with cash flow, I notice that IAG have taken a small shareholding...could be ominous!
