Re: DOG MIXER BISCUITS

The Spanish don'r seem to use mixer biscs like we do in the UK. We used puppy mini biscs when we needed them and they were very well received and ours did well on them! We later went onto total dry food which also went well ( with a bit of gravy!).

Wild Lavender here too, although not doing so well as some years , I think because of the lack of rain. The bees love it.

Re: Wooden Garden Benches

As a word of caution; we brought ours down with us from Blighty 17 years ago. I was in the Hardware business in the UK and this one was top of the range. Basically wood and Andalucian sun don't go well together. We feed ours with teak oil several times a year and have now adopted a routine of having...

Los Reyes Magos repartirán 1000 kg de caramelos en Pizarra,

Our Population; 8500 souls, don't know how many are children but that's an awful amount of sweeties per capita. No wonder they are all a bit "round". :shh:

Our local Ferreteria sells them. The Spanish use them for fencing batteries. A lot cheaper than the 'puter shops!

We have a smart meter but the trip is in the fuseboard in the house, sealed with wire and a lead crimp.

Re: Choosing / changing electricity contract

In answer to your last question there is a sealed trip installed to "govern" the supply. If demand exceeds the set amount it trips and you have to re-set it, which is tedious but not totally a life ruining moment, it's only a switch. They do tend to be inaccurate in some instances and trip...

Cheese, Airlines & Border Control

We were in Bristol last weekend and I was sorely tempted by some Cheddar Truckles on a craft stand. I didn't succumb because I really wasn't sure about actual rules. We only had cabin bagage so there was that, and then whether you can actually bring dairy products into Spain . Anybody know definitiv...

I did this to renew my UK Rail Card and it worked a charm, the new card arrived by post to Spain in 5 days. I used a photo from my library on my computer, it is a very good system. I would think it would only work for renewals tho' as they must have to know the photo is you!
