Re: Has anyone actually lost their TV signal yet?

Costa del Sol - - ITV1 Meridian gone, CH5 and all the 5*s etc, 4severn also gone.

The general thoughts are that even a 3m dish wont be enough for Southern Spain to receive channels on Astra 2F/2E narrow beam as the focus starts to fade to the south of Madrid.

Re: Yoigo

The coverage is very good with Yoigo. They have their own 3G network on the coast and also fall back to Movistar network when Yoigo not available. My girlfriend uses it and seems fine. I personally used Vodafone pas as you go with XS8 tariff . . . 8c a minute to any network 24/7 and 8c text as well....

I get 1 month to pay the factura before getting cut off, in fact i alway wait for the NEXT factura to come in before paying the previous one so ...

I've been using Rightway Insurance recently. They've been able to beat any quote I could get by a large amount!

Re: 'New' NIE numbers??

Yes, anything is possible! A few years ago the town hall changed the name of our street. I now don't receive any bills by post as a result. Tried changeing the address with telefonica to the new street name - but they insist this isn't possible without disconnecting the line and then waiting for a r...

There are lots of unsecured WIFI networks all around arroyo although its a bit hit and miss as to where exactly! These are not supposed to be open for general use but you can still connect anyway if its not secured.
