Re: Bank Charges

Still no charge at Unicaja mid November. Hopefully this will continue... La Caixa have now started to moan about monies being paid into accounts over the counter, trying to steer people towards their "cash machines". Maybe in a few more years, they will be able to get rid of half the staff...

Re: Certificado non residente

My bank, La Caixa have never discussed it with me, but I have seen a charge go through for my wife and I, think from memory every two years.

But then, La Caixa like a charge !

Bank Charges

For years, I have being using a Caxton card for holiday spending money, usually using my own Spanish bank, La Caixa to make withdrawls. Back in May, there was no charge at the cash point, however, this October there was a charge of 2 euro. I bit the bullet and went ahead with the withdrawl. A few da...

Re: Financial Advisors...Again.

Yes, avoid financial advisors like the plague.

However, I had an email this week from a "bishop" in Nigeria who had $4.3 million to give away.

It was only to nice, charitable, Christians, who would do good with the money.

Amazed he found me !!

Re: dinero

Looking at exchange rates, my friends "Caxton" are today only quoting 1.0686.

Can it go any lower, is par on the way, or will Boris pull us back from the brink ?

Can't be a lot of joy at the moment for people relying on UK pensions.

Reminds me of the graffiti I saw years ago, on a wall in Holloway Road at election time...

"Don't vote - VOMIT "...

I believe Jeremy Corbyn is the local MP there days.

Need I say more !

Morning all, I'm looking for a fee-free bank account without conditions (such as having a monthly salary paid in). Just wondered if anyone knew of a (preferably national) Spanish bank that offers this. Thanks in advance, Ollie That is like having "Brexit" without conditions. As they say, ...

Re: Driving England to Anderlucia

Not trying to be picky, but unless you take more care with spelling you will end up in the wrong place..... Reminds me of the story, of the American tourist couple flagging down a taxi in London years ago with the request to take them to "Tooting Common". On arriving , the taxi driver sto...

Re: Travelling around Malaga

Doing a bit more investigating...

Seems there is a bus from "Sailtre ( Jacinto Verdaguer ) to Paseo de Sancha ( escuela turismo ), which seems to cover 90% of the journey, with a walk either side.

Thanks costakid.
