Just seen gus's post, saying the same ;-)

Re: Choosing / changing electricity contract

Once you have got it all sorted out, take a look at Iberdrola. They are a large energy supplier, and for me it has two advantages - first, I am on a fixed monthly payment by direct debit, so I know there are no nasty surprises; & second the website is available in English, & they have English...

Re: Merry Christmas

Streaky bacon works well for wrapping the dates, 'ordinary' bacon tends to break in all the wrong places. In Spain we always used Oscar Meyer bacon which works a treat. I can't be sure, but I think the first time I had them was in a resort on the CDS... ;-)

Talking of rain, if you're looking at a property on a slope, try & work out where the water will run in heavy rain - it never occurred to us, that the original property had no doors on the uphill side, as we planned our reform, & then found out the hard way that water runs downhill & str...

Yes, I got an email yesterday - I haven't done anything about it yet. Will it cope with XP ? (I'm still using it as it is so much easier to use when I'm doing graphics... ;-) )

Re: On this Day

I did loads of research several years ago, and reached a point where I would either have to spend quite a bit, or go to various far-flung locations, in order to find out more, so it all sort of ground to a halt ! Katy, you're right about the contact - early on in my research into hubby's line, I fou...
