Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

Just tried again, but still get a padlock - sorry. OK - I had a thought and opened the file with Microsoft Picture manager, and there was an option to export that file, so I did & now have a file with no padlock, so here goes ..... Well it worked but all that messing around has made it virtually...

Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

When I go to the folder where the file is, the file icon has a little padlock next to it. I didn't have a problem copying the page from the web to the .doc file, so I don't think it is anything to do withcopyright. To get a jpeg, I copied the .doc to CorelDraw, & then exported it in .jpeg form. ...

Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

OK, I've converted the file to a .jpeg & it's reasonablt legible :-) & hopefully I will be able to attach it to this post. I'm a bit concerned that it might not be legible in the post, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed... Hmm, that didn't work - it keeps coming up with 'ERROR'. I notice that...

Re: Obtaining a Nota Simple

I've been googling, and have some info on IDUFIR - it's in a word doc file, so can't really post it, but if you pm me with your email address I can send it to you :-)

Re: Obtaining IBI document

Update ! I finally bit the bullet & called the Recaudacion office in Archidona. I spoke to a very helpful young man, who spoke enough English that I didn't have to resort to my very rusty Spanish. Having explained my problem, he said he could email me with a copy. So I asked for a few earlier ye...

Re: Removal companies

Don't know about packing, but contact Jimbo (http://www.jimbothescot.com/) - he's done a couple of jobs for us, and I know other forum members have used him too - all gave glowing reports :-) . He probably does the packing, but I've always packed for myself, so don't really know, just ask him.

Re: Storage Tube/Box for Tall Artificial Flowers

Inner rolls from wrapping paper; plastic 2l bottles with tops & bottoms cut off & taped together; try supermarkets/ florists for discarded flower transit boxes... ;-)

Re: Obtaining IBI document

How strange - I wonder if there's a problem with the site ? I don't have a digital sig, or a Clave, so I'm a bit limited as to what I can do. I might give the office in Archidona a call - I've done it in the past with some success, tho' the girl on the other end spoke English, so that made it a lot ...

Obtaining IBI document

Re: Multifunction printers

Thanks for all the input - the Epson seems to be OK at the moment, but I suspect it's just biding it's time ;-). Looking back, I think I got it about 3 years ago, & I've certainly worked it hard since then. I've been using generic ink since I first got it, and altho' the 'You're not using our in...

Multifunction printers

I think my Epson is on the way out :-( so I am looking into a replacement. As a member, I have looked on Which?, and one of their best buys is a Canon Pixma MG3650 - does anyone have/ had one of these ? Any comments ?
TIA

Re: New Car v Used Car

I have a Citroen Berlingo (Multispace) here in UK, but selected it purely on our experiences with it in Spain (as a hire). Its a comfy ride for 5 people, with a spacious boot & fold down seats. When we were at the casa, we'd go down to Leroys (or stop on the way up from the airport) & load u...

OK found the answer on Mozilla Support page :-) It's actually easier than downloading anything -
