Re: original wooden beams

No idea Country boy. I see beams. In between it looks like cane(reeds?) The cane fits exactly between the beams. It looks like thick string binding the cane together. And ghe whole lot is covered in several decades of paint. Apart from that, i'm afraid I can't be any more specific.

original wooden beams

Hi people. Not been on here for a while but here I am asking for advice. Does anyone have an idea of the cost of replacing an oringinal wooden beam about 3metres long(eucalyptus or olive?) We are trying to keep the house as traditional as possible. New wood would be an option though. Thanks in advance

Re: MRI scanner San Antonio hospital malaga

Just to let you know that I had the MRI scan in the "open" scanner at Clinica Guadalhorce in Alhaurin el Grande. I felt like a hamburger as the scanner was shaped like a burger roll and I was the burger. I'm only 5ft 8" but my legs were partially outside at one end and more importantl...

Re: MRI scanner San Antonio hospital malaga

Thanks for your input people. I found this Resonancia Magnetica Abierta (open) in Alhaurine el Grande (1.5 hours from Cutar). My insurance doesn't cover this hospital but it is only €170 for the scan. Which is a snip, since I would rather ride on a mule to Madrid on a saddle made of cactus spikes th...

Re: when to plant

It was my neighbours idea too use mesh around the plot as his hen house is only 20 ft away. they are "let out every day/every other day and would head straight for the "new ground to scratch about. He was with us yesterday at the plot and gave us some old metal chicken wire for free if we ...

Re: 3 Year rule on selling/buying another property

When did you first put it (which tax year) on your income tax declaration as your habitual residence? Sid Hi Sid, we moved here April 20th 2014. We are in the process of paying our taxes for 2014. So I guess it will be our May 2014 green card residencia date we will use and not the padronamiento of ...

3 Year rule on selling/buying another property

Just been to our gestor to pay taxes. Whilst there, we discussed the possibility of selling our house and buying another house. To avoid C.G.T. we need to wait to have 3 years residency and put the total value received for this house towards the purchase of the new house. We got our residency cards ...

Thanks for the replies. I'll try the garage in velez again and we're seeing our gestor next week anyway. The Main dealer will be the cheaper option though.
I'll let you know how I get on.
