Re: Getting NIE in England

We got our in the UK 10 years ago at the Spanish consulate, it was dead easy to do, not sure if the process is still the same. The only thing that could be difficult is that you need a Spanish address to post them to as they won't send them to the UK.

Hello again! What are you all up to these days?

I'm a bit out of practice with this forum malarkey, it's been a while! Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum. Anyone remember me? I used to be here a LOT but life kind of took over, what are all my old friends up to these days? If you do remember me I'll tell you where we are now... Still living i...

Luggage/dog guard needed

Where would I get a luggage guard for a Mercedes V class in Spain? Something similar to this which costs a fortune to ship... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mont-Blanc-Me ... 680wt_1137

Re: Children in cars.

A child can be without a car seat if they are over 135 cm tall which my 7 year old nearly is, the law says it is over that height or over 12. There must be a lot of tiny 12 year old kids running round as my daughter is 10 and the smallest in her class and still more than 135 tall lol.

Re: El Chorro camping?

I have stayed there, it's a beautiful place but no set pitches you just throw your tent up where you can find a space. There is a bar that sells food (very basic food) and toilets next to the bar then the only other toilets are up a massive hill and that is where the shower block is too. There is a ...

Sid it sounds fab, we used to live in Frigiliana which was heavenly but not all that keen on Nerja, your area sounds really good. Some friends in Nerja...

Re: Clinica Rincon Nerja or Torre v Centro Medico Torrox Cos

I found the service at Nerja very good but had a mammogram and ultra sound there and had to have them both repeated at Torre del Mar hospital (for free the 2nd time) as both were inconclusive!! It may just be my bad luck though!

Almunecar International school

Does anyone know anything about this school? My children go to state school near Antequera but my oldest's grades have started slipping a bit this year (she is 10) from being close to the top of the class. I am led to believe that my school in particular doesn't really push the children to do the be...

Re: MATHS TUTOR REQUIRE

Can I suggest an older pupil in the school as a tutor, I am extremely lucky that my 10 year old daughter is very good at maths as I would have no clue as how to help her with it!! It is like no method I ever used at school!!

Re: Missing Dogs

Hi I'm not sure if this is related but we were driving down the motorway in Seville on Sunday 2nd Jan and saw a Lab running around on the path/fields next to the motorway, it would have been somewhere between Estepa and Osuna but can't say for sure where! We noticed it as it looked too healthy and h...

Re: Indian in Humilladero

It is on my doorstep and I am there for a take away every week  it is great and the people who run it are lovely. We ate in the other night and there were 20 or so people in (on a Tuesday) so it's not quiet all the time, lets hope they stick around :D .

Indian in Humilladero

Oooooooh at long last the new Indian restaurant has opened in Humilladero (near Antequera). It is called Jelani's Red Onion and is where Katz bar was. Not eaten in yet, and it has been really quiet every time we have been in there, but have had 2 takeaways which were absolutely heavenly!!! Everythin...
