Swerve - is it migraine, or is it something else. Perhaps your OH should see a doctor?

Re: San Juan Bajo Parking/Tram for Sevilla

Its just that coming from the Huelva direction, San Juan Bajo is on the right side of the rivers for us ... but yours is a good suggestion ... will bear in mind. Thanks.

San Juan Bajo Parking/Tram for Sevilla

I wonder if anyone has used the parking at San Juan (Bajo, not arriba) provided for travel into Sevilla on the tram? I have been looking on the web but most recent I can find is from several years back. Then it was apparently free !!  I am finding that a bit hard to believe, so would ...

Re: under-declaring alive and well in 2018?

Our property has in the last couple of years been reassessed so that there is now the constructed area, including the swimming pool and terraces/driveway, and separately assessed what used to also be part of the Urbanisable plot, now designated as rural and at a very minimal cadastral value, basical...

Re: Autonomo and pensions

The whole process really is a bit of a pain for folk who have worked in several EU countries, under different regimes, eg social security from the state, local occupational schemes, special ones for self-employed ... So for instance Retirement due at 63 France with 6 years - reduced state pension, r...

Re: Autonomo and pensions

Goops As we know all officialdom in Spain tends to have different definitions of what paperwork you need for what ... Our local INSS Seguridad Social office required as a minimum the form that you can get from the virtual office on line INSS applying for a pension. Take note that if you have worked ...

Re: Right of Access

Definitely get your reps, if you cannot come over yourselves, to check with the Town Hall, Cadastral office as to your official right of way. Even if it is in the escritura, I am not 100% convinced it will be upheld in case of dispute etc., though certainly better than not being in writing. If the c...

Re: DOG MIXER BISCUITS

Not sure what you are after here .... dog biscuits are dog biscuits - what are Mixer biscuits ? you will want to give the dog nutrition, in addition to the tinned or home-cooked, or have I missed something? Cheapest dog biscuits tend to be Mercadona, but they are certainly NOT the most nutritious.

Re: Autonomo and pensions

Morlandg and Manchesteral are both correct. The concept of the EU pension is that any years working within various EU countries are to be considered by each of those countries when you get round to applying for your pension (it is usually up to you to apply, rather than for them to offer). Thus you ...

Re: Day trip to Sierra Nevada

Definitely take your snow chains if you are going this week !! As to the dogs - you will find that in most of Andalucia dogs are welcome especially if well-behaved, BUT only on the outside terrace ... I believe by law they are not allowed inside, though there is often an exception made for a Yorkie ...

Re: Driving Licence renewal

If you apply within a couple of months before it is due, they can issue the new one running on from the expected date so you do not lose out. Make sure you find out first from the Traffico DGT web site where your nearest medical centre is, then go there and either ask for an appointment, or if it is...

We have a lot of what we call wild lavender round here. https://www.gardenia.net/plant-variety/lavandula-stoechas-lavender https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavandula_stoechas We will call it Spanish lavender from now on --- lovely to look at, but we find its smell somewhat pungent rather than attractive.

Re: Re ITV

Its not a Malaga thing - over here in Huelva province the renewal letter and the cita Previa website had notices reminding one to be able to provide insurance documents at the ITV. Whether anybody will actually ask to see them there, who knows!
Glad you got sorted out Gerry!

Once you have been to the Social Services office - INSS - in Ayamonte, with your S1, they will send or give you a card/letter which you then take to your local Health Centre - Centro Salud - where there should be a Social Services desk ... they will log you onto their computer system and get a Healt...

Hi we have a pozo negro which does just fine, no smells, healthy patch of hillside below where we expect the outflow to be - our inspection hatches SEEM to be set into the concrete over the pozo negro and are only identifyable by being round patches of concrete within the rest of the concrete.
