Re: Best Android or other TV service box

I have a Spotify account so Amazon suits me. I agree for listening to music, it's not fantastic but for radio it's fine. The echo is connected to my HiFi set up and for me then it is good enough. I have bought some Hue bulbs and a nest thermostat as well to compliment it. I also bought the little do...

Re: Best Android or other TV service box

I have 350 mb so speed shouldn't be a problem. Kodi for films is fine but live TV and sports is annoying so I prefer to pay to get good streams. I use my brother's account for SKY on the PS4 and can watch in HD with almost no buffering. Bein sports in Spain has the champions League for a tenner a mo...

Re: Best Android or other TV service box

I have never been a fan of these Android boxes but obviously others use them and are happy with them When I have tried to use some of these unofficial apps, I get enough buffering with live channels or sport to put me off. The occasional times I watch a film, I get no problems, although I could neve...

Re: HIRING A COACH

I take kids to England and Ireland so I would imagine that a policy for one day would be proportionately cheaper.
More than anything, it is to cover the adults in the group as we take out separate cover for each student which already includes Civil responsibility for them.

Re: HIRING A COACH

Hi Just seen this thread I take out public liability insurance for trips. Any insurance company would be able to help you. If you take out your house insurance with a broker, then ask him. I pay a little more than 200 Euros no matter how many people are going for one month to give you some sort of i...

Re: Best Android or other TV service box

I only have one account with Amazon and it works with both the Spanish and UK Prime and on both Spanish and UK sites for purchases. Both addresses are the same Spanish one but the payment details are different. If you are having problems accessing UK apps on your Fire stick, then you have it set up i...

Re: Best Android or other TV service box

I can't use Amazon Prime on my Fire Stick because I'm not signed up to the UK service. However, when I have taken up the trial service, it works fine on the Fire TV. On my TV even though I have the UK apps. it recognises the Spanish service and I watch it through that. I have no real need for the UK...

Re: Best Android or other TV service box

The Amazon fire TV box. If nothing else, it has a easy to use remote. It's an Android based box so it's possible to install Kodi on it.

Re: VPN for BBC iPlayer

After reading I1bassleft’s post, had a look at Smarty DNS and got a year’s subscription for 14 euros.
It might be worth looking at them if you had like me a subscription with them before because they might be trying to win back confidence in their service.

With Easyjet it's a matter of getting in early. I got Paris from the 26th to 31st December for 55 Euros return. London for 42 Euros return the third weekend in January. British Airways seem to work the same way. A flight I bought some months ago for the long weekend from the 6th to 10th December was...

Re: Lidl online

Slightly off topic but Yesterday I was sent by my wife to buy something she had seen in their regular mag. I couldn’t see it in the racks so I enquired about it and was told that they hadn’t had time to unpack them and I would need to return today. She then promptly walked away to talk to one of her...

911 Euros sound really expensive. I pay less than that for two cars with LD and the second car was insured for a young driver. I have a 2 year old Sportage insured with an excess waivered for the first claim....just received this year's new price 399 Euros. My understanding is that you need to give ...

Re: Dental implants

I find dentistry in Spain to be of very poor quality. Unfortunately, its only after a few years of experiencing the work done that a judgement can be made. Always looks wonderful to begin with. Poor quality materials used because they don't expect the guiri to stay in Spain and so they can get away...

Come and live here in the Basque Country
France is so near, you can pop across the border anytime you want.
In fact, that’s exactly what I have done today and I’m writing this while sat in a bar in Hendaya looking out on France to the east and Spain to the west
