Re: CGT REFUND & IRNR 2019

I tried again and finally did find a place where I could submit "other supporting documents" and a written request. Hopefully this works.

Re: CGT REFUND & IRNR 2019

We finally received our 3% refund about 7 months after the sale of our apartment. It had been held up for a mistake in the 2017 IRNR filing. Now however, I have a small problem. I accidentally paid my IRNR twice for 2017 and need to request a refund. I have now spent 3 hours looking everywhere on th...

Re: CGT REFUND & IRNR 2019

We received the PlusValia refund in 5 months but not the 3% CGT even though we owe nothing to the agencia tributaria. Our solicitor today said that the tax office has 1 year to refund the 3% before interest accrues. Comment?

CGT REFUND & IRNR 2019

This has been a very helpful and useful forum in the years we lived in Marbella. I have hopefully only one last question to put to anyone in the know. We sold our Spanish property at a loss on April 23, 2018 and all taxes due to date are paid. Our solicitor said we should expect a refund of the plus...

Re: URGENT! Which tax form for late payment fine?

Very clear and interesting. I believe it can be paid via our Caixa account once I have modelo 002. Just in case I will leave the money with our lawyer who can pay it. thanks ever so much.

Re: URGENT! Which tax form for late payment fine?

Wonderful! I did sign the letter online that states 'Que, estando de acuerdo con la propuesta contenida en el citado escrito, no presento ninguna alegación'. Just to be sure, I will also print and mail it. I was trying to accomplish this before leaving Spain but now I see that I must wait for anothe...

URGENT! Which tax form for late payment fine?

We are leaving Spain on June 10 and I just now got a registered letter saying there is a fine for late payment of the non-resident tax (form 210) for 2016. I want to pay it online (have electronic certificate) but I do not know which form to use. Do I use 210 again? Or is there another form to use f...

Re: International Driving Permit

Thank you! I was afraid of that but found a site in English that directed me to the spanish site. From the US there is a fast delivery option at a high price.

Re: International Driving Permit

I have a US license and quickly need an IDP. I downloaded the Spanish application for the IDP and carefully read the page for Permiso Internacional. This page tells the requisites but not what type of appointment to request, or even if an appointment is needed. When I tried to make an appointment in...

Re: Tax Form 720 Asset declaration

We are American citizens who obtained Spanish residence on December 15, 2016.

Should we have filed modelo 720 by March 31, 2017 or by March 31, 2018?

Re: Tax Form 720 Asset declaration

We became Spanish residents on December 15, 2016 (but did not actually take possession of our res permit until the end of February, 2017). Are we supposed to submit modelo 720 for those last 2 weeks of December? We had already paid the non-resident tax before we knew that we would be returning befor...

Oficina de Extranjeria Marbella

We have just received the authorization for our non-lucrative visa. We have been told that we must now go to the nearest Oficina de Extranjeria. I read that the Marbella police station now has a Foreigner's Office, but I do not find online whether they issue the actual residence permits to us or if ...

National Health Scheme

We are considering taking residency in spain. We currently have private health insurance with Sanitas. If we take residency, would we qualify for Spanish national health coverage even though we have never worked in Spain? If not, is there a way to buy it with a monthly payment? Thanks in advance for...

How to file against a company ...

I purchased something online from a store in Madrid. Sent them a bank transfer, they confirmed receipt. But they never sent the merchandise and now say they can't find my order or customer number in their system. Where can I file a complaint? In Spain, is there something like Comsumer Protection or ...

Yesterday i sent a parcel from Calahonda (Marbella) to Florence, IT thru Royal Mail (via one of the collection points of offexspain.com). Paid €22. Just did a check on the price if sent with ecoparcel: €21:45. Not much difference except that I had to physically take the parcel to Party Party in Cala...
