Re: moving FROM Spain - company for small shipments

Oh, I guess I should have mentioned that I am moving to Asia! Not the UK.

So I need a company that can do that.

I am moving FROM Spain and I am looking for a company to ship a small amount of boxes out of the country.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Getting your tap water tested?

If I knew what to google for I would! Any suggestions? 'Analisis de aqua' returns only reports, not companies doing it.

Re: Getting your tap water tested?

Sure, thanks (though it does seem a bit of a conflict of interest to have the person who wants to sell you a system determine whether you need the system!)

I am down the Gibraltar end... so hopefully they will come this far over.

Getting your tap water tested?

Does anyone know of a lab in Spain that you can send your tap water to to get tested? Or somewhere else in Europe that accepts samples for testing?

Thanks!

Re: Telefonica alternatives?

Thanks Enrique. I am pretty sure my line - the physical line - is the problem. Except Telefonica/Movistar refuse to do anything about it. They have sent a technician out, but he looked at it (without using a computer!) and said it was fine. What can I do? It also could be my router. But Telefonica a...

Telefonica alternatives?

I have had enough of Telefonia/Movistar's service/quality or lack there of. For months I have been phoning and complaining about the speed and quality of the internet connection here and they just do nothing. (I've been a customer of their's for 11 years!). For a laugh, here are my pingtest results:...

Re: Sanitas?

Thanks everybody for all the replies. I think I will stick with Sanitas for now (not living in Malaga province it seems I can't get Provision Medica anyway). I've given up on getting an English-speaking doctor around here... and incredibly - three days later - I did get an email back saying: We very...

Re: Sanitas?

Sounds good! Where is this Clinica Rincon? Where is the info on this Over-50 Cardiac Check? That is exactly what I am looking for!

Re: Sanitas?

Thanks Lynn, Unfortunately we don't have a Sanitas office nearby, but I will keep that in mind. I sent them emails over the weekend and haven't heard anything back yet about my 'complaints'... so, we'll see. I hope it is just a hiccup as I would much prefer that their service worked as advertised. M...

Sanitas?

Sanitas seems to be a popular choice for private health care down here on the Costa del Sol... but what are people's experiences with them? I've just signed up and it has been anything put good! They claim to offer services in English, but, whenever I phone - after navigating the Spanish-only phone ...

To state the obvious, 2010 is almost 4 years away. Lots can be done (and change) in that time.

Thanks. Looks like it has potential but that has to be the worst website I have ever had to try and use!
The contact us form doesn't even work? Minor rant - why do idiot web designers insist on selling people Flash sites?

lighting rental

Does anyone know of a company in the Malaga -> Estepona region that rents film lights? We are shooting a production down here and would like to rent a lighting kit locally.

Thanks

renting professional audio/video equipment?

Does anyone know of a place along the Costa (hopefully around Marbella) where I could rent a couple of wireless tieclip (lavalier) microphones?

Thanks!
